I read this and laughed, look at big clans like Prime... They aren't noob clans trying to fight Aggragoth... They have plenty of AMAZING druids and tanks. They don't rely on plat, whether you are in a noob clan trying to kill aggragoth is none of my concern. Just stop complaining.

Spring of life is a broken skill. I'm sure the designers know that.

We all make the choice as to how we play. Micro payments fund many online game platforms and this is no different here. You can level with daily quests that require no plat and enjoy many aspects of the game. However if you are looking to participate in the high level content you will probably need to use some plat helping to support your game play and the designers services.

To be honest, tons of the new skills are very broken and don't work well or aren't used over old skills. I really wonder what beta's reaction to these skills were.

They should make it cost 10 plat to complain on forums.

LOL and I'm taking that to heart right now. No more plat buying!!! I think they are far from going under, their business model is working spectacularly right now! $200 for a "virtual" broom. LOL. A lot of takers.

Judging by MDI plat buying post. The average person spends ? what ? , $200-$500. For people spending $4000 and up. To me that is just nuts! I spend that money on stocks, hold the stock, and get the dividends per year. Buy the stock and let the money roll in.

$4000 / $15. You've just spent the equivalent of 267 months of playing World Of Warcraft.

My god, I never said aggra was hard to do plat free, I'm just saying spring of life and hide are worthless on lava.. I know a total of 0 druids above lvl 100 on Rhiannon that use spring, and no worries, if druids occasionally use spring of life once its fixed, idols will still be better and thus bought and OTM wont die.

On a root level, this post is misnamed.

It is a clear cut fact that the Druid Spell: Spring of Life needs a sizable boost to its utility. Be it a hp/energy increase given per level of the skill when rez'd or just a flat 30% of both, right now it's an unusable skill on lava, and in most other areas of the game.

The title of the post leads us all to talk the intricacies of a business making money for its company and game-future vs making a playable (and less payable) game for its customers...that is a fine line and a topic that has nothing to do with the first in reality. If you want a Spring of Life change, say it. But throwing a plat discussion into this hides the point of the post. And overshadows the entire point of posting about it.

I am not bothered by the problems with the druid res skill because I know that the developers are hard at work trying to sort it out, all for you guys.

Anyway, back to "OTMs goal is a fun game not plat spending?". Personally I am just seeing another thread full of whiners. Work hard and you will get what you want - I may not even be 100+ (close though ), but I have meteoric gloves, boots, helm and greaves, with the rest warden on my rogue...with a gold dag of venom and heroic rejuv...not too bad considering I have spent under £60 on this game, maybe about 60.
