I dont disagree Aileron, but I said before the spell ever came out, it will be gimped as to not compete with idol purchases. That seems to be the case, as such I have passe on ever SoL ring drop and refuse to use the spell. This is something sruids have criticized since day one with no adress by the devs. Druids for some reason to not get change as quick as other classes. Do you remember when Rogues complained that there was not a good item for them in the new lux? The very next day they had the venom dagger. I have been asking for a druid/mage focused novelty to encourage us to not just use them for transportation since they all use str for dmg modifier and most of us casters dont have much str. I still am hopeful on that (check my recent suggesstion on Feedback thread).

Anyhow, not meaning to take over the thread, just seems either there are not enough druids making noise for Devs to put these things on our radar, or modifying the Druid and relevant items like a broom for us is too difficult to tackle.


One more thing to piggyback off Aileron's suggestions. I think SoL should increase not only returning health with skill lvl focus combo, but als AoE range and frequency of casting (timer reduction with skill/focus).

Unfortunately it brings the target back at only 1 health and , from what I've read, 1 energy.
Having experienced this spell (casted on me), I can confirm this.

As I understand it, this makes the spell Completely Useless in places where there are permanent DoTs like the lava floor.


It definitely needs looking into. I don't know if 100 per pt is ok, maybe 50, or even 25 instead (100 per pt @ L25 or 2500 health would bring back non tanks to full health... that would be OP IMO).
An idol brings a person back with full health. There's no reason this shouldn't to.

In every other MMO of this ilk there are stages/levels of Resurrection skills that Res folks Halfway Health-Energy or Full Health-Energy.

Is this game just trying to be different for the sake of different? It doesn't unbalance much to have these options.

In fact, Idols would still be faster and occupy the healer during Battle scenarios.

What is the harm/effect of a better resurrection? What is the thought process to not allow a full res?

What game dynamic is ruined by using half or full res's?

I actually think that when the person is resurrected, they should get full health but 5% of total mana is regained, that way the person can recover and it will prevent mages from spamming spells and suiciding resulting in a massive exploit. The druid will get 25% mana and energy drained and will get a 5 min cooldown. This is how I think the spring of life will be not as bad and will be very helpful.
