I think above all the resounding issue is that there isn't much value to your characters life. People
In other MMOs actually care when their characters die and try to avoid it. A death penalty promotes character preservation which introduces a new strategic element that this game seriously lacks.

For those whining about how they die in one shot:

Vitality, invest points into it. That is how the game is designed to be played. Like others have said, if you can't survive a fight you probably shouldn't be fighting there.

I would suggest to OTM to release ability reset books for all characters of this were implemented just so nobody complains about HAVING to spend money to continue playing.

Just open question to you:

How a death penalty will benefit the game , i have play another mmos that have death penalty on gold and others the have in stats ,..

Not having. Death penalty Is one the thing the makes this game unique and separated from others mmos , is like havin a unlimited inventonry bag and able to buy space unlimited not like oters games .... So why change sometiing that makes te unique ..... If you like death penalties go play other mmos dont ask to change something the works .

I mean is upgrade 3 all over again cause druids are not being part of the game.... This list have a hig list of issues and ypur is not one ..... Im tank at moment 5.5k health and you ask me to reset after dyieng with 1/2 of my stats ..... Or to loose 5% o my gold ....... Well like i said you play with 7 druids so you dont died .

How will a death penalty make this game better?

Gold penalty? No, because gold is hard to get as it is
Xp penalty? I absolutely hate that idea and will leave the game as many people will too
Defbuff? Why even use idols and elixers anymore?
Item loss? oh please, that's just asking for complaints

What does it mean to improve the game?
Does it mean to make it more fun?
Does it mean making it exponentialy harder or annoying to play?
Does it mean providing challenges? A challenge is one thing; Skeleton king is another ;)

This is what I have been seeing..."Admin this is over powered" - Patch comes out, game is harder. "Admin, this is way too under powered" - nothing...

We can do something like this in the update that works as follows:

when you die a status effect is added that has no effect and lasts e.g. 2 minutes
if you die again while this is active, the status effect increases in power and reduces max health and energy slightly
if you die again while the status effect is active, the power is increased
if the effect times out after 2 minutes it disappears regardless of the power it was set to

so basically it will be a very minor death penalty but means there will be a very slight meaning to dying

it will go through beta testing so we can test it out then and see if it's a good addition to the game
I believe that will make dying over and over to a boss mean something. What about my suggestion of spring of life nullifying this death penalty?
I like that idea personally, anyone else like it?[/quote]

Idk why ppl always want change something is not broke , want those penalties is mmo on idevices the use something close to that , Go play it and see if is fun.... But mobs hit lesser then CH heroes so is easy to kill.

Our server is low on druids most of the times. If we do the debuffs, most of us will have no chance of doing boss runs without druid.

Clearly we are back and forth on this , we don't agree and that's cool.

I think a death penalty would add depth to the game , make it so classes have to be more careful with their build, you woukd not see nearly as many 80 vit dps , if there is a reason not to die we will all adjust and make it so we don't die as much , the game will require more skill to play and be more fun.

I know alot of people do not like when the game presents more of a challenge and maybe that is fair since this is a mobile game , I dunno I like it but whatever is clever , I didn't think so many people would be so strongly against it .

And sirb threatening to quit if the devs make a change to the way the game is played is quite childish and I didn't expect that from you .
