If it does take up room and u r unable to download the updates then just delete some apps that u dont use any more on your ipod or iphone if that was your question

If I remember correctly, the last build we downloaded was about 120 megabytes in size, so I would guess that the update will be about the same size as that...

All that I've seen, from the Beta Pics to the Admin ones have been so freaking cool I couldn't even stay still to type a comment here. How long does it take for apple to aprove?

It depends on a few factors, but in my experience it is typically 1-3 weeks, depending on how many other apps Apple has to sort through, who has rushed status, the size of the app. ect ect.
