Lol!!! Rogues tank better then warriors that's a good one... Please don't talk rubbish a half decent warrior rocks a rogue tank I can get 1.1k armour they would get probs 2k+ and more resist and better skills to keep agro don't comment if you have no clue...

like hotoyo said, u all stuck with limits, u think that warrior will always be tank and rouge dps and druid healer and etc.
i saw even druid tanks better than warrior, the only class that i never saw tanking is mage
u only see warrior as tank, rouge as dps, druid as healer, ranger as support\dps or whatever and mage as spell-dps
go and check belenus and u will see some awesome rouges tanking hard bosses better than warriors

That means the warrior sucks... Very badly... A true tank warrior can out tank a rogue 20 levels over it

Have 4k hp without buff frozen shield and everything. I can tank ragnok just about... With the right Druids on. 3 to be safe. Now a warrior in my clan same stats all frozen etc can tank with 2 Druids with ease. I have seen a Mage tank e-shield is good. And they keep agro with powerfull skill and the fact a shield doesn't really decrease there dps helps. You can't tell me that rogues are good tank. You are missing the point If you lose aggro then u ent a good tank at all. Yes rogues can tank a lil if no decent dps are on but with scent dps well ur just useless as u watch them die

To clarify, I said that I (personally) can tank better than a lot of warriors can, not that rogues can tank better than warriors. That's not true.

and ur a rouge, and pigtail can also tank preety good, a full tank warrior will be better cuz of his higher health and armour, but i dont think that all the warriors should be tanks cuz of this, thats why he talked about our limits, we stuck with the same idea all the time that warrior should be tank, rouges can tank better than some warriors (like hyrbids or mini-tank), but rouge has his own skills for tanking like warrior has, warrior got shield bash, protective stance and taunt(or warcry), but rouge got smoke bomb (which is really good), fast reflexes for his defence, poison weapon which can be really good to keep aggro, and awesome dps skills, assassinate as a finishing blow is awesome for example
but just know that any class can tank in his own way, i think that druids can tank awesome but its still a problem to choose skills and keep aggro, mage can be kinda good with his energy shield, jhim is a good ranger and he tanks some bosses really good, well its mostly bolas and heal but since he has dex build he avoids a lot and his heal is awesome, and he use defensive spikes too (and rangers can use entangle, good skill for tanking or support except the recast), warrior was just built like that to be the tank that can survive the most but all the classes can tank really good if u know how to build them like that, the druid i saw tanking tanked for example stonefang main without using one pot or idol and i still see some awesome rouges tanking even better than some warriors, everything is depends on their build

All u need for a rogue to tank aggy are good amount of hp,druids, and a few dps and your good.
Warriors are prefer to tank those bosses but rogues rend is basicly taunt. All you need are wards and bark from druids.
It might be harder but not impossible if there no warrior tanks on atm.

I think to clear this up we need a better definition for the role of the tank. Is it to keep everyone else in the group alive as you say? in my opinion the role of the tank is to stay alive the entire fight, without letting the druids get killed or allowing the boss to reset. For example, if a dps rogue gets killed by a boss's cloak does the blame lie with the tank? of course not. Similarly if the enemy attacks these dps classes it is often the tank's fault. Skills like distract are available to rogues for a reason. I am barely a decent druid at level 90 and I have been the sole healer for kiyarah for many bosses without a problem. With a maxed bark adding 350 armor and an offhand shield, along with high evasion abilities she is comparable to any warrior tank I have healed for of a similar level. I have found mages to be the worst tankers. They lack armor and vit, and once the shield is down they're dead after a few hits. Lol criminal who is this druid you have seen tanking stonefang main?
