Yea I hate how capital i looks like lower case L makes mimicking names easier for scammers. A while back i had low lvls with names u couldnt tell the difference between mine and theirs and went around trying to sell my account then logging off.

It is possible to have the exact same name as another, I have seen it done on my world twice but it has always been the original owner with both names. This happens when someone deletes their account, makes a new account with the same name as old, then asks support to recover old account, and support doesn't catch that the name now exists.

I have seen many players who use similar names for their chars, but it is really way too easy for people to pretend to be other chars in the game. Zero instead of the letter O; the number one, lowercase letter L or capital i all look alike in game. Simply adding a number to a name, and people often believe it is your alt (i would never do that, btw).

It can be very frustrating
