A large group gets less xp per kill but kills faster

On lix I get about 12k xp soloing wyv thralls, in a group I get about 8k

Right, I understand that part, but we don't always have a full group. Sometimes it might just be three of us and others we might actually have 8 people in our group. The part I'm not understanding is if it's three of us, why do we only recieve close to 5k when we kill a lvl 150 wyvern? I'm usually the lowest level in the group and everyone else is around the appropriate level and I don't think I'm the cause of us possibly losing 2k xp. That number just seems too big to be true for that reason.

To get your xp you divide the base xp from the mob by the number of people in a group then add 30% of the xp after dividing for every additional person

So a group of 4 on a mob that gives 10k
Get 2.5k each plus 90% of the 2.5k

The appropriate levels are killing it and if you were refering to me not being 140+, then I would to see evidence showing that a level 121 in a group of level 140+ eats up 2k worth of xp.

Elim is far from a noob, sure he buys plat but he is definately one of the most knowledgeable best players I know in multiple classes, the only class I wouldn't trust his advice with would be Druid

Back to the point, he is right, play keeps the game free, don't want a free game? Go ahead and buy plat

If there is ever another Double XP event make it not stackable with elixers. Make it a player reward not an all out unbalancing event which the first double xp event was.

But the 2 other suggestions by Xell and Aileron with having the XP mobs spawn more and Quest XP rewards be ALOT higher have alot more value to them.

I try to always have a lix in inventory so that when I see an XP mob I can maximum use of it

And quests should give a set amount of XP each time they are completed. At level 105 the retaking fairyland quest gave me ~100K xp, it was a very nice boost. Now each level past 120 the quest gives me less and less XP. Same work but less reward.
