I actually like Rhysm's idea for half-priced plat instead of double plat. It seems like the same thing until you think about it a bit -- half-priced gives more flexibility both to players who might not have much to spend and also to ppl who might want to divide up their plat between accts/servers.

eg
if I buy $100 worth of plat, I can have 4K, or 8K if double plat. But all 8K is stuck on one acct.
If I have $100 to spend but want plat on two accts, then I have to buy 2 ($50) bundles, which is only 1600 plat per, or a total of 3200.
if it is a half-priced sale, then for $50 I get 4K plat. I can spend the same $100, but end up with 4K plat on two different accts.

How long's double plat gonna last?? Payday on the 30th and was gonna blow £70 If it was double plat and risk having no money towards the end of the month, but not worth it without double plat :|
