I agree with this 100%. I also agree with Pigman, though. Buying or Selling an account should be against the TOS. I don't think sharing is a problem.First off, let's look at your policy statement on account sharing:
Here at Celtic Heroes we really care about our players, and feel a duty to protect them against other people gaining access to their account. The main way to prevent this is to ensure that only the person who has registered an account should be the one accessing it.
I don't buy this at all. It's not your responsibility to protect players against their own stupidity and it's inconsistent with your policy on trades:
Here at Celtic Heroes we really care about our players, and feel a duty to protect them against scams done via trades. The main thing to remember is do not trade items that you want back. Trading someone an item is the same as giving them that item, do not lend out items expecting them back. You will not have items returned to you by support if you trade them to another player.
The best approach you could take for account sharing is the same - don't do it but if you do it's your own damn fault and we're not going to help you. It's hard to see how getting more involved helps you or the game in general. If you do feel this is crucial, though, the only sane solution is full fledged monitoring in which you're looking at every login for every account in the game. When you see behavior that violates the account sharing rule you can issue a warning followed by the escalated penalties as described in your policy.
