So, Marcus, basically the high level elementals dictate the definition of ks to best benefit themselves lol. There have been many time where my group of 3-4 is on falgren and one elemental is present just before we start killing...then he calls his clan and takes the kill. "kill steal" implies that the kill was stolen, and I think if one group is hitting for quite some time, it should be considered a stolen kill if the second group gets it. There are some cases where they hit within half a second of each other, and that should insignificant time difference categories it as a free for all. Its always nice to see elementals try to legitimately ks (darc, mike, and others came 30 secs after we started and none logged) and fail. Im always happy to thank them for helping the kill go faster, as a slap in the face. In my opinion:
1. two groups gathered, one hits first, other group hits immediately after and gets kill- not ks
2. one group present and one from other group is there before first group attacks. Lone person calls clan and his group gets kill- ks
3. one group starts attacking, other group was already present and starts hitting 20 seconds after and gets kill-ks
4. one group starts attacking and one non group member attacks immediately after and gets kill- not ks
Basically, the two factors in my criteria are:
how long after the first group attacks does the second engage? if less than 3 (maybe a little more) seconds, it is not a ks.
is the "ksing" group capable of killing by itself as they engage? if one rogue is able to take kill from an entire group and started attacking just after them, kudos to you, it isnt considered a ks. But if said rogue has to call more people to increase group dps to get kill, it is a ks. Even more so, when one person sits there and waits for group to come, it is definately a ks.

Does anyone agree with this? Im open to suggestions from everyone, and I think we all need a clear definition of ks that everyone can agree on to make this a smaller issue down the road.

Lol @ mamba yes the belenus terms for ks (which were worked out between skyline and crew long before your sad ass showed up) are totally bs! We must accept his ultimatly confusing ks terms thatll be even more difficult to determine whether or not you were ksd because lets face it, if you disagree with mambas opinion, you're wrong.

Thx for the support lusty I know you're always there to back me up :) Once a rule is made it cannot be changed? Idk if you've heard of an amendment, but everything changes, including this game. If you haven't heard yet, the next update will feature a target lock which prevents ksing according to my definition, not yours so apparently there are other people out there who agree with me. and btw, my 'sorry ass' was around longer than you think.
