Any clan that has clan banks accessible by multiple clan members, well I guess they should be banned too.

This is great! Even more secure than real life banks.

I think I will go convert my savings into plats and save it here.

There is a reason why this Acct Sharing guideline hasn't been enforced, its because its not practical. But its gotta be there incase, just incase something unforseeable happens. Don't ask what that is, its a last resort fallback for OTM.

Most of us clearly need to revisit the school of common sense, instead of focusing on trying to be narrow-minded and getting people BANNED BANNED BANNED.

This makes more since than almost every other post in the topic this seems alot more reasonable and since worthy

What I think who will be banned ? Clan banks i dont think so , family sharing the less players know the safer , OTM wont be running around looking who sharing accounts they go off people crying ,so if a rival clan cries to admin alot , according to OTM posted about rules they will warn you 3 times (not to sure up to how many times ,but i know they will warn you need to look it up again)

Or at May 1 they will scan all ip addresses to see whos sharing account and then they will banned them ,but change your ip before May 1 and your ok :-)

I agree there is no way to enforce it. And to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't want it to be enforced too strictly. I think if someone on a shared account is being a tool and shouting slurs, then the account should get a warning... at which point I would hope that the original owner would re-take full control of the account.

And that's really what the OP's complaint was about: People not taking responsibility for the actions of others on their character.

The majority of this thread was a linguistics debate and well off topic. Some people may have become a little frustrated and heated, but in general I thought it was a decent little discussion. I do admire ***'s tenacity.

As for why the wording of the TOS is so strict, well if I recall there was a LOT of scamming/account trading going on, so it gives OTM veto power of sorts, to disable an account.

Technically. HolyKnight... a 7 year old isn't granted license to play the game, but that's another TOS debate. Simply edit your post to say your "my 13 year old son's account."

I could be mistaken but i believe almost all aps tos states use by others is prohibited , it protects the company from people that have not agreed to the tos.

In a game such as this it also serves the purpose of preventing scams and otm being able to avoid responsibility for that.

In my opinion it also should prevent clans sharing characters, I'm of the opinion if you don't earn it you don't deserve it, so if you didn't level the character you should have no rite to use the character.

The basic reply I got was that if I shared an account with someone I did it at my own risk and OTM would not in any way support any problems related to it. They did not mention that it was illegal just that it was at your own risk.

This is exactly what I got. Not gonna say a lot more, but I think this is pretty fair...
