Did you realize that once, Skull made a rule that all Golg must block all Avalon members? And if you talk to anyone of us, or saying anything nice about us, you get the boot? That was the kind of iron-fist rule he had been doing for months.
Yes, that has probably change, but his word is still absolute in Golg. Do you jump when he says jump?

I can see you don't hate Avalon or MD or any other clan for that matter, and your purpose is to defend the members of your clan and asking people not to treat them harshly because they have a <Golgatha> tag. But in any society, members are always associated with the group they are in. If some person joined the Taliban because their friend was in there, even if they didn't like Bin Laden, they were still treated as a terrorist by the USA.

Golgatha has a bad reputation, so instead of trying to convince everyone you are not what we think you all are, then show it, rather than spewing drama in the forums. As the old cliche goes - actions speak louder than words.

Dude keep your head up and high. Keep playing the game how you want to play it. Just remember haters gonna hate, there is nothing you can do to make the other side lighten up on your clan. They are the superior clan in Morrigan. As long as everybody keeps fighting with each other for the scraps that fall off the table no one will top them and they will continue to dominate.

I have been playing for almost a year now, watching the big clans from the outside and deliberately not accepting a clan invite until recently (BlessingWay was a clan that I made so people would stop inviting me)

I have watched members of every one of those clans say unbelievably rude things in say chat.
I have been helped by Golgs, Maraths, and Avas. And there are several friendly Golgs who help us out routinely.
I have been ks'd by Golgs and Maraths
I have been grouped for bosses by Golg and Marath when I asked (sometimes) and Doo even gave me bindings and covers after an eye boss.
I have been shut out of quest bosses (like starspell yesterday -- I can understand not letting us in on chained king, but starspell??? Fellfire???? come on) by Golg, Marath, and Ava
I have watched Nighthawk solo a defector while five of us in the 40-50 level range politely stood there and asked to be let in.
I have been ignored by most of the big clans
I've had Golg and Marath members say they would like to group me but can't because of clan rules (or in Golg's case, 'Skull won't let us")
I had a Golg member and clanless friend make incredibly rude and sexually abusive comments to me yesterday in the castle. (screenshots on their way to admin on that one)


After almost a year of this, I've had no consistent experience with any one clan and can't brand any one clan as being "good' or "bad".
There are players in each clan who I respect and admire and some in each who I think are dirtbags.

I'm pretty sure no one can find a clan with all perfect members that haven't done anything to annoy or done something bad to someone. Heck, if I truly wanted to, I can probably find something bad to say about everyone I've met in the game, especially when I play my unknown low level alts

But you say you have been playing for almost a year, that means you must've started sometime around Jan or Feb 2012, then you probably are aware of much of the history of Morrigan clans. Avalon was formed mid-Dec 2011 so we are fairly new when you started. I think if you've been playing for almost a year, you have had a bit more of an informed opinion how clans generally conduct themselves. Unless one spends all their time in the castle, there's really not much clan activity going around there.

And I'll be honest and blunt. If you've been in this game for a year and still in SV, then you won't be in our radar, so don't take it personally if you're being ignored. We have been already branded as high level snobs, perhaps that's what we are, but we've always been a high level clan and have always been focused on end level content, so yeah...

That was more or less my point; that I have seen selfishness and generosity from members of all clans and I tend to think less about the tag over someone's head than about my experiences with them. Of course, my most frequent experience with members of any of the big three clans is selling them something....I have no complaints there lol.

(oh, and Pest, if you are reading this, I have that broom now. I will hereby stop depressing the economy)

And no worries, I didn't mean "ignored" to sound like a whine. I'm a casual gamer with a penchant for collecting and don't really expect to be on the radar of end game clans. However, I have been getting some encouragement to join Golgatha so this thread really caught my eye.

I will admit to some curiosity about what really goes on in there. One hears such rumors.....

Please stop arguing, we (as in everyone who reads these posts) all know you hate each other, and I disagree with the associated "ethics" ,if you like, of Golgatha and its members. I'm all for expressing ideas and emotions, but theres a point where peace and neutral equality is better than shouting at each other on a forum thread about whether nighthawk brown-noses skull or not. (although ill admit that justecy topic was ironic to the point that it made me laugh). I will politley request that this topic is locked before anyone gets insulted any more than they already have.

:| this is sad. no matter how many times i repeat myself, people assume I hate avalon. As far as shouting at each other, I have not shouted at all. I'm sorry if any of my posts were read that way. As far as me brown nosing skull, I never realized that was a topic of discussion. if you read my posts with an open mind like i asked, you would see that i talk openly about skulls faults. But of course everybody has to go with the popular belief that since I'm in golgatha, I must hate all avalons, and I must absolutely adore skull and follow him blindly. This thread is going nowhere. It has come down to the same sentiments being repeated over and over again. I am done. This is my last post in this thread. You all know where I stand.(or, more likely, you will just assume where I stand, without actually reading what I'm saying.)

this was hardly "sad", you definitley came across as shouting to ME, I dont CARE about all this open minded stuff, to be honest. Arguing is arguing, and there is still a point where it gets too much.

Everyone knows, and it has been well established that the majority of golg members (dont wanna include yourself as a golg member in this respect, seriously, whatever) obey skulls "iron fist" rule, and have to do whatever he says to the point that you are pretty much brown nosing...or else its the boot. its tyrannical.
