Elim- you are right. Half on and half off means same interrupts during boss fights whether at 1 or 30. Overlooked that.

Rapid shot is (for me) the most useful skill my ranger has. It lasts longer the more points I put into it, and it enables me to mow through my enemies with ease. I understand if you only have a few points in it.

One of my strong bows is also very slow, and rapid shot is useless on it. So it isn't exactly the best skill if used on strong-but-slow bows.

Rapid Shot is a useful skill but the consensus we all are coming too is that it is a waste to place alot of points into it. Freeing up those points allows us to put points in other skills like defensive spikes, light heal, sharp shot, barbed shot, etc.

AS a side note with 6 points in rapid I can cast sharp shot and either heal, bolas or defensive spikes in cool down cycle. Rinse and repeat.

I can see where you are coming from. There ARE alot of other more useful skills to invest points into.

Honestly, I was a little harsh with my original post.
Saying it was useless was a little over the top, however, it obviously could be better.
There reason I was passionate about it was because its the only useful dps skill if you have full earthstone. Or if you are a dex build.
I was just a little ticked because I got a +8 aggy ring only to find out this skill isn't very useful at a high level due to it's massive energy consumption.
