Ok guys so I ran and optimized a freeze build. Not bad I only die 2/5 attempts .
I will die no matter what if a freeze is resisted. Anything else that goes wrong I can recover. I still need my dual box druid, but ya, its doable now.
The only problem is it takes me twice as long to kill a guard than a warrior similar lvl and gear.
So obviously the freeze mage isn't the solution to the problem. While it makes it possible, I still die way more than warriors and it takes me twice as long to kill the mobs.
The build is as follows:
Stats:
5 str
5 dex
375(445) foc
320 vit
Skills:
30 bolt
28 shards
30 shield
27 freeze
15 lure fire
15 lure ice. (seems like they have 250 resist all)
Oh and I have 1400 sigils split relativley equally between health and energy...so ya it won't work with less lol.
Re: Mages STILL underpowered at high levels
#41Nerfed Mage ~140
Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?
