Re: VOTING: End bosses dicing

+idk. Both have thier pros and cons.... We will start with advance

ADVANCED
PROS- would help high levels develope faster due to them having thier class drop.
- would reduce argument due to... A warrior not getting a mage drop
- would help high levels with thier boss fights do to them getting aggy drops for their class, not for another clan to sell at outrageously high levels.
CONS- may confuse some players, some players are not as mentaly fit as others
- may cause arguments... Like shad(ick) wants the best aggy brace but isn't lucky and sam rolls him out and gets it
- wouldn't help low level players develope... So high levels would go up and up , while lower would be left in the dust
- alts... Maybe some alts want these drops... Would help them
- u don't want to spend 30 min figuring out whos gunna roll...
+SIMPLE
PROS- simple... As named... Wouldn't confuse players as fast
- fast... Get done with rolls... Just move on to next boss
- trade.... If i get a mage brace and ur a warrior... Trade it for a warrior brace from a mage or something... Not that hard to ask for trade
- gold... I know some people are greedy and want gold... But doesn't everyone... I mean if this happened to every drop, would thier be a ,Arlen for anything for gold flow?
CONS- causes anger... Not going to expand on this
- may not be what YOU want... So if ur a warrior getting a mage brace... Trade for a warrior brace, or sell!!!
- makes people accept what they got even though it may not have been what they wanted

I agree with the dicing by class for drops in 2 group kills but we all no each other quite well i think if item is something i have already it should go to someone in group who hasn't,before im saving for my alt or clan mate. If we get to situation where we all have then happy days time to make gold.

I think this approach allows us to help one another out instead of everyone out for themselves. My primary goal in CH is to have fun playing and socializing with other players, not selling. Just my $.02.

Seeing as my last post got deleted ill try summarise it:

I vote for none of the above.

Toys suggests people can gain any drop they please so many may hoard items of specific classes to sell for money, others may collect items for friends or alts instead of helping group. It can cause many problems.

Now shads, this is a little longer...

Shad suggests we class roll every drop. Now i understand this helps people gear up their character quickly sure but what happens to certain classes after this when they get these drops but have no one to sell to. Looking mainly at mages, we now have 2 150+ mages (kam and longcool), and about 4 more 130+ now these mages will be rolling specifically for mage drops but what happens when they have no one to sell to, i dont know if you noticed but mages are very scarce, i see maybe 1 mage in aggy fights, and the rare occasion of 2, now what happens when they cant sell the mage drops at all? What happens when they run out of money to buy items such as idols, restos, elixs etc to help them boss battle or even level? What happens when they cant even buy items from new stores to come or lux? How do you suppose they make money without grinding like crazy? They dont simple as that. Sure they can sell previous boss drops like crests, rings, frags or rems but they only sell for so much. In reality shads dicing rules are a plat buyers heaven but a non-plat buyers hell. Plat buyers who sell items should look at it as what happens when people cant afford the most basic items.

Druids sure there are many of them but how many people had their crests well before they needed them? I know i had mine before i was even 100+ at one point. Even druids will suffer. What happens when druids cant sell these items. They run out of money and cant help in fights. From there they have very little choice but to quit. What happens when most druids quit? You waste plat! You have very few people to heal you so you use idols and restos. You'll find more and more people saying got no idols. Sure the major classes would survive such as rogue, ranger and warrior. Well maybe not ranger but rogue and warrior would definately survive. But what are those classes to do when they can kill any boss?

I simply suggest that we use adv method in multiple groups and dont dice in one group fights (provided the new bosses are easy to kill in one group), let who gets the drop keeps it as it has always been, but all you higher people stop asking for extreme amounts of gold and either give free or cheap, use our crests as a guideline, gloves 1-3k or free even, boots 3-5k or free, helm 5-10k also free sometimes, stags 15-20k (depends on difficulty of reaching boss, this could be lowered to 10-15k), bears 15-25k, lions 25-40k. This way you can make a profit but still your not required to spend an excessive amount of gold on buying these items. If someone doesnt sell to these prices you know who not to invite next time. Its all about who you buy off nothing more. I remember shad setting prices towards the crests where gloves were 10k, boots 15k, helm 25k, greaves 40k, bp 60k and wep 75k and he is complaining of paying too much for these drops when he set the price? Tbh i think he should look at the big picture not just at his own gain.

Lukov, with the update 3 crests weren't the only thing that was sellable / valuable. We had a lot of other additional items that valued for a lot. E.g. Royal/Grand rings, Even Bindings, Event bosses etc.
Now were talking about update 4 and it's dragonscale 'rems' or whatever you want to call it. We know these pieces for dragonscale aren't the only valuable items that will come out, many other alternative quests and such should give us the fortune we need. Bosses themself all givr above 1k, hopefully if OTM are generous enough every new boss can drop 2-3k. Even that is a lot considering the drops you are likely to get and gain from.

We should acutually focus on equiping the 'elites' as shadow likes to call it first to make these bosses easier in future rather than thinking about money. Because really gold is gained easily than trying to get warden-metoric-frozen an then dragon. I still agree with Advanced, the people who claim every drop to roll for causes way too many problems and people hogging items. Like Callumallen mentioned, we all know eachother by now so if lets say so and so already has a helmet rem that all druids will roll for then so and so will not roll. Simple as that ? but if everyone already has then let every druid still roll but then that person can sell or do whatever the eerie they please.

But using shads class restricting these drops you can only sell so much like rings wise, you might get lucky and get a royal touch which could sell up to 100k but you might get a royal spring of life which you cant give away. From what i understand from shads dicing, we would be dicing all drops including non-quest drops such as rings and such, now if you were only a mage no other class, you would get to sell maybe 1-2 items a month because the drops are so common with the ratio of mages:mage drops what helps them make money. A no class drop everyone wants? How much chance do you have of winning this in a group 1/8, sometimes you wont be very lucky. I just think one group kills shouldnt have the need to be diced but lugh just needs to learn not to be greedy. High prices and high restrictions are signs of greediness in this game. Mages and possibly late druids will struggle for money. Even selling the occasional druid drop they might get.

Also these new quest items will only be sold for so long, look how quickly covers, bindings and pages sales died off, its not just main quest items that cause the problems im just looking at the big picture following old trends with item sales and all.
