Seeing as my last post got deleted ill try summarise it:
I vote for none of the above.
Toys suggests people can gain any drop they please so many may hoard items of specific classes to sell for money, others may collect items for friends or alts instead of helping group. It can cause many problems.
Now shads, this is a little longer...
Shad suggests we class roll every drop. Now i understand this helps people gear up their character quickly sure but what happens to certain classes after this when they get these drops but have no one to sell to. Looking mainly at mages, we now have 2 150+ mages (kam and longcool), and about 4 more 130+ now these mages will be rolling specifically for mage drops but what happens when they have no one to sell to, i dont know if you noticed but mages are very scarce, i see maybe 1 mage in aggy fights, and the rare occasion of 2, now what happens when they cant sell the mage drops at all? What happens when they run out of money to buy items such as idols, restos, elixs etc to help them boss battle or even level? What happens when they cant even buy items from new stores to come or lux? How do you suppose they make money without grinding like crazy? They dont simple as that. Sure they can sell previous boss drops like crests, rings, frags or rems but they only sell for so much. In reality shads dicing rules are a plat buyers heaven but a non-plat buyers hell. Plat buyers who sell items should look at it as what happens when people cant afford the most basic items.
Druids sure there are many of them but how many people had their crests well before they needed them? I know i had mine before i was even 100+ at one point. Even druids will suffer. What happens when druids cant sell these items. They run out of money and cant help in fights. From there they have very little choice but to quit. What happens when most druids quit? You waste plat! You have very few people to heal you so you use idols and restos. You'll find more and more people saying got no idols. Sure the major classes would survive such as rogue, ranger and warrior. Well maybe not ranger but rogue and warrior would definately survive. But what are those classes to do when they can kill any boss?
I simply suggest that we use adv method in multiple groups and dont dice in one group fights (provided the new bosses are easy to kill in one group), let who gets the drop keeps it as it has always been, but all you higher people stop asking for extreme amounts of gold and either give free or cheap, use our crests as a guideline, gloves 1-3k or free even, boots 3-5k or free, helm 5-10k also free sometimes, stags 15-20k (depends on difficulty of reaching boss, this could be lowered to 10-15k), bears 15-25k, lions 25-40k. This way you can make a profit but still your not required to spend an excessive amount of gold on buying these items. If someone doesnt sell to these prices you know who not to invite next time. Its all about who you buy off nothing more. I remember shad setting prices towards the crests where gloves were 10k, boots 15k, helm 25k, greaves 40k, bp 60k and wep 75k and he is complaining of paying too much for these drops when he set the price? Tbh i think he should look at the big picture not just at his own gain.
