Bickering on the clan channel.

Recently I unwitingly recruited an individual who many within our clan felt was a scammer. With a clan this size (apx 930 mems at the time of this post) which is almost entirely guardians, nefarious players may get adopted from time to time. What happened was that players started bashing the new recruit on the clan channel "Scammer!" or "that guy f'n scammed someone...or so I've heard!" I interviewed a few players from other clans to verify these claims but could not find evidence to support this however the bashing continued on the clan channel. Ultimately I kicked the accused despite drawing no clear evidence that he had done wrong. I did this solely to calm the clan from hurling invectives on the clan channel which I felt was creating unwanted chatter in the chat bar and also painting the clan in a poor light. It is this last point I would like to address.

Feuding on the clan channel is the wrong forum and approach to one's anger and accusations for something like this. Please alert generals and chief so we can either investigate and dispell the accusations or kick the offender. Please do not feud on the clan channel. Feel free to whisper your little thumbs off but don't make your fight a family affair.

No snobs: Snobby braggarts suck. It's just an f'n game! You will find (especially the clans with lots of elites) other players who prattle at great length like "My alter rogue is such a tank, you guys suck!" or "I have a special diamond armor codpiece" or "My clan is the only clan to kill Alapoopsalot the Dragon. All other clans suck." or "I've been playing since before there was Shalemont!" Well good for f'n you! We don't do this in Helter. Don't be a diva douche bag. These are just lonely shut-ins that are so emotionally feeble that they have to bully others in an anonymous MMO game. Don't be like that. If you have to bite back, remember to be clever. Remind them that they are acting like spoiled trust fund children and carry on.
