In terms of banning players, when we do support we try to focus on helping as much as possible and try to ban players only when it's really necessary.

That is not the attitude towards the subject I was expecting, turning a blind eye is not the correct approach.
But now that it is clear where you guys sit on the subject, alot of us can and will take advantage of your lack of authority.
Jail breaking our devices it not hard and since we can to further our progress in the game with clearly no fear of any kind of punishment for blatantly breaking your imposed ToS. After all no one is being harmed and it does not require "necessary" action.
Just makes me wonder why you guys wasted your time implementing an anti-afk system in the first place

I know some ppl are very annoyed by the AFKers, but they are lower on my list of problem causing ppl than the others...

People walking thru the walls are ruining the game for legitimate players.

People using other players' names are ruining the game for those they scam, as well as the players whose names they steal.

People purposely crashing the server and wasting the rest of our hard earned, real money are ruining the game.
(i have heard that person was banned, but believe they have about 50 accts, and I don't know if anyone official ever said it, or if the guy just deleted that acct and his life goes on as usual)
I Don't believe any one of us who reported it heard back from support. I am not sure you *owe* us those idols we basically threw in the toilet, but we kind of deserve at least a "We have fixed this problem. The player has been banned, and It won't happen again." Or a "This isn't fixed yet. Be careful fight idol eating bosses."

I know it sucks to be the mean guy, and I imagine you get as many fake reports as real ones, and double that in ppl who just screwed up and gave their stuff away... But these people are making good players, or at the very least, potentially great customers, quit the game.

It is extremely frustrating for those of us who don't have any desire to scam or mess with other players, and really actually enjoy playing the game as it was meant to be.

This is a serious post, and something needs to be done, maybe not over night, but at least looked into.


Is there a way to lock known scammers by locking their device they use?

How do u drag ppl to mobs??

U heal them and they follow u pretty funny near the blackstone bridge or in the wyvern pit if they haven't died by then.

As for the original post some action should be take but seems to never happen, i mean seriously admin said report every person afking or walking through walls and they will take care of it but nothing seems to have happened. You can get a pic of someone admitting they bought their account or sold their account and again nothing happens. Rules are there to keep the game in control but if u dont enforce them why have them.

Why is it exactly that you care if other people are afk? Also, if you're stupid enough to give your items out and get scammed, that's 100% your fault. Why should they waste their time because your an idiot when they can be making more zones so the higher levels have something else to do besides kill trash mobs.

Nah, the people who are afk are either reverse engineering the game or not actually playing, both of which otm has said ate not allowed. I honestly don't think modders or people reverse engineering should be given warnings, it should be a permenant ip ban

Why should they waste their time because your an idiot when they can be making more zones so the higher levels have something else to do besides kill trash mobs.

Normally i would agree regarding trades and such, but when players are creating characters specifically to look like well established characters, that *needs* to be addressed and immediately. Maybe something as simple as making uppercase i (I), look different from a lowercase L (l). OTM needs to address this in the short term. I would say in the long term a permanent ban for verified cases.

Afk and modding is cheating, plain and simple. I pay/support the game. I demand a level playing field for all. Either everyone can go afk, or no one. Either everyone can walk thru walls, or no one. Do you think its fair that someone can continually mess with your gladiator by pulling him into the wall where you can't get at it, or the player?
Is it fair that someone, or many someones can hog bandwidth 24/7 by going afk, meanwhile increasing ability scores, gold, and XP without putting in the work?

Taunt the mob they're attacking or gain Agro by healing them or something then walk off with the mob behind you. Get to a spot you want, kill the mob and Tada the Afker is stuck in that spot.

I agree that walking through walls and other modding is definately cheating. Isn't afking harmless? I mean, you say that it's unfair because they gain gold and xp without working, but shouldn't we all just suck it up and put in the work to keep up with them? Also agree with the name thing, had it happen to me.
