I was guessing you blinked, I'll do some more testing and try it out with ymir dagger.
Edit: After testing with Ymir dagger it seems like there is something bugged beyond usual bugs.
Normally what people assume with QS is it delays the next attack, with ymir dagger it actually negates the next attack it seems, this is different as worse comes to worse it would just delay the attack so I really have no idea now. I think this is a more recent bug.
I wish there was a more accurate way of testing this stuff.
My test was months ago closer to when obelisk came out back before it had the spawns near it and you could auto it without ever getting attacked when using golden camo.
Hopefully something will get looked into, I posted a bug report. http://www.celtic-heroes.com/forum/view ... =7&t=22959
Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#12Lol me and brookie have been Saying this for Months. I have tested on Frozen also. It completely cancels the next auto attack. Lol I thought brookie was a load of crap when he said this like 4-5 months ago until i tested myself. Hence brookie went to a full auto rogue. And I went to a hybrid kind.

Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#13yeah i originally believed it was broken, then otm reared its head claiming that it was merely an animation issue. so i went back to using it. then i was bored with no noobs to smite in the arena so i killed ragnor with my ymir dagger, cast a quick strike, and wtf? my next melee swings, but does no damage... not what i would call "visual"

Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#14I dont have a ymir dagger to test with at the moment but often times in duels I am challenged to fight someone without using quickstrike. When I accept this challenge, my dps is significantly lower even with my quickstrikes doing comparable damage to my autos. This leads me to believe that we are not sacrificing an auto to cast quickstrike despite the animation.

#15take any slow weapon and test on a galadiator, watch both the numbers and his health bar
i am 100% sure of this and have repeated the test with multiple weapons now

Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#16When I whip out a slow spear I see what you are talking about. Still not sure what to believe about it. Why would it make such a big difference in my duels if it only does the same damage as my autos?

Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#17because a duel is so short, that if you cast a qs after a swing, it boosts you ahead in dps, but then you fall behind when the next melee is cancelled. duels are so short that the tiny boost from qs can put you ahead by one swing. longer fights, its a waste

Re: Quick strike doesn't seem so quick
#18These are pvp speced duels. In otherwords, both me and my oppenent had about 4k hp. (I get to cast quickstrike 3 or 4 times) While this is a short fight in comparison to bosses, it should still be long enough to see the effects that are being discussed in this post. I'm not argueing that quickstrike is perfect but if all this auto skipping business is true, then I shouldnt see such a significant difference in my duels. At this point I am begining to wonder if it is only slow weapons that are effected by this auto-skipping glitch.
