this seriously needs to be adressed. ASAP. If you are group leveling, and die just before the mob dies, and you are still down when he drops, you get 0 xp. none. This SUCKS. I dont know when this was put into place, and i dont know whether its a glitch, or somebody actually thought this would be a good idea, but it needs to go. NOW. I am more inclined to believe that it is a glitch, because the people who are still standing when the boss drops get xp as if you were still there.

Why should a dead person get xp? It sucks but the idea of killing a mob is to stay alive while it dies.

If you are having this problem often you are doing something wrong.

This was an intentional addition. People used to, on elixirs especially, die during fights and lay there, expecting others to kill it and gain the XP.

I understand that it isnt fair if someone in your group lies there and lets you do the work. if this happens, un group them. but it is not fair if i'm doing all the work on the mob, and i die a split second before he does, and get no xp.

Again if this is happening often your doing something wrong.
I don't blame you for being disappointed on a little missed xp but really you should not die at every mob you fight.
If this is a problem I would suggest finding a stronger group or an easier mob.

i never said it happens often. It happens maybe once every 50-70 mobs i kill. but by pure dumb luck, it seems to happen on the tougher, high xp mobs. its just annoying.

I'm afraid I never checked that.

For me, what I think needs to happen is that you don't share with a dead guy (so it is as though the group is one smaller) and they don't get chance of drops.

Just my little opinion, I know it's gutted when this happens, but it can be a real problem re forming the group especially if you are at a boss in a clan on clan fight and you have one guy playing dead.
I would happily boot them from the clan but it is harder to tell now because of the idol timer taking do long to reset itself.
