I'm really hopin this event is Samhain I don't know if y'all ever watched the Halloween horror movies with Michael Myers the original movies but their was one without Michael Myers called Halloween 3 season of the witch in that movie ther was these mask that a company called silver shamrock that sold masks well any way these mask had a piece of Stonehenge in them well the one thing I rem was the masks they were pretty amazing maybe the devs will give us a few old style ancient masks to wear

but then lower lvls could not reach the mobs let alone kill it. I think it should more about tasks u have to do e.g gathering pumpkins, cobwebs

As some other people mentioned, I would like to have exclusive items that go over your regular armor and basically just change the appearance. I don't really care too much about any stat bonuses. If the armor looks cool, that's plenty good for me. But if there are going to be stat changes, they should be specific to each class- Druids/mages get energy, rogues/rangers get attack, etc. It would be cool if they didn't have class requirements though so a Druid could maybe wear the attack increasing item if they wanted. And lastly, like someone else mentioned, I would prefer them to be tradeable items so that people who couldn't participate in the event could trade from people to get the exclusive items.

you could maybe have a quest item(i'm low on money ) to morph you character in a skeleton, maybe we could go on a witch hunt?
If we are having a Halloween event does that mean there will be a Christmas one?

Just a few ideas that I don't think have been tossed out yet:

Most people have mentioned particular items to equip that change appearance, I agree these sound great. I would also like to see new quests maybe?? We could have a quest just like the chess piece quest but it would be Halloween related. You could also do a quest like the Mushroom one, but this one you must pick up pumpkins scattered across lirs reach. You could even do a chicken type quest but instead have black cats scattered about. Most of the ideas I have heard are just for the players to equip. Did anyone suggest doing a minor makeover to the NPC's around Lirs Reach or giving the Castle a makeover? It doesn't have to be that complicated since it is so last minute, but maybe throw some pumpkin or spoooky tree decorations around.

If the admins do decide to make exclusive armor/items I would suggest implementing a bank system then. Items are too easy to displace on accident. The bank system could even be set up to store just individual pieces of an armor set, only accepting one piece to each set. Once the set is complete it could become non-tradeable and non-dropable. That way you would never fear of losing it, simply go back to the bank and exchange for new outfit.

This may be early, but since we are discussing a Holiday event... I don't know much about celtic history, but we should also get a start on other popularized holidays such as Christmas, Easter, or New Years. Speaking of New Years did the Celts have any firework type things?? I have seen the use of fireworks in other online games. Just a item to spend money on and it makes a cool display and then is gone. Just another cheap one time item like the shrink and grow potions. Just ideas to make money
