Thank you for proving my point. The privileged want the rest to suffer.
These "privileged" people all worked hard for their lvl and gear while it might have been unfair for one person to ks u its unfair to place a 100% target lock because there are other people wanting to kill the same thing. They have a right to kill the same bosses as u do even if they are higher lvl they earned it.

And it is not temporary anger. On the world of Arawn all the major clans have a non ks policy. If you KS you will be kicked from the top 4 clans. A KS on Arawn is defined as taking the kill away from the person who first hit the mob. This is how are world works. 100% auto lock is merely implementing in code what is already world policy. It is a very cooperative world. We even stand in line to wait for gladiators and those who take cuts are reprimanded. The person in question that the OP discusses was put on probation in his clan and will be kicked if it happens again.

The argument that lock will ruin the game is false. 100% target lock will not ruin the game it would make all worlds like Arawn and we like it that way. I have no problem with different worlds having different rules. OTM would probably do well to consider that. This is why I continue to support the lock on 123 stars. The other worlds need to have their KS parties. On Arawn the lock will not change our social climate. What it will do is remove the drama when someone breaks the rules.

If your world is this utopia of ks free living where all you need to do is tattle tale on the kser , why are you talking about target lock at all ? You created this thread to what end ? Honestly I respect your opinion on lots of things in this game , going forward target lock is not one of them , it seems to me you are just trying to ruin other people's fun .

It was ventus. It was dead so fast they wouldn't have considered it, plus it's ventus, who cares...?
The fact that it was ventus is irrelevant. im not gonna go raging if i get ksed on ventus, and i certainly hoped papi didnt. His point was, ksing is not cool and target lock is the solution. I don't see why everyone is complaining, you don't want target lock so that you're able to ks people? Gwydion used to have a big 11 yr old jerk who thought it was funny to ks people, and all of you are starting to sound like him

So for example if some sad noob is killing a mob and is purposely screwing me over while im on elix locking up all my mobs just to be a troll which is what people do to me sometimes then I cant ks them? Right now as a rogue I have no problem ridding of these idiots but if this lock comes it will just be unfathomable. Also the fact you're complaining over ventus is just sad, what you wanted a feather?

We don't want target lock cause it makes dps useless... Your saying about it my being fair 1 person can ks on a boss that a group is doing. Then the group is not balanced. How would it be any different if a Druid and a tank or all Druids and warriors are just killing aggra or 3 hours while dps isn't needed. Why have them? A balanced group will hardly ever lose a boss fight! This is why 20% target lock is good as a balanced group will pretty much never get ksed

If I had my way I would put target lock on everything but I realize that is unrealistic which is why I support it on 123 stars. Every time someone complains about how horrible target lock will be they go straight to discussing bosses. I am not advocating bosses. Just the leveling mobs.

Why do I want other serves like Arawn? Because I do not predict OTM having different rules for different worlds. I want to preserve our style of play. If we only get one solution for everyone then I want it to be my solution just like you want it to be yours. That's not so hard to figure out. Different rules for different servers would be wonderful. I just don't expect that will happen. The 123 star position is a compromise. it permits both camps to have their way on part of the game. If both groups are unhappy you know you have found a middle position.

The problem I see is that OTM needs to decide if they want to be their own game or if they are trying to be a copy of something else. This is not a PC game. It is a mobile game. It is a game that can be played in 15 min increments. Just because a group of people live in the celtic world does not mean the game is designed for them. Its a matter of market share. It is a game that is on a medium that is overpopulated by teenagers who can steal iPod time without mom knowing about it and put their Christmas and birthday money towards an iTunes apple. Does OTM want to be Nordstroms and target a few heavy buyers or Walmart and get a little cash from the masses. Its obvious which one is the better business model.

I have 7 toons my wife has 2, I have 6 kids that play at least one or two toons and only one is a teenager and she prefers minecraft because it is less boring. We all like to get on and play together. The game is hard enough without griefers making it worse. The game should provide a means for high stress and low stress and the ability to choose to be in those situations. Most of the time we just want to have fun together. I want a low drama game, a chance to enjoy a little down time. Life is stressful enough I don't want it in my play. Sometimes it is fun to go to the PVP areas and get your clock cleaned but that is a choice. Create entire PVE PVP FFA zones for mass chaos. Create private group dungeons for a more controlled experience. Give us options to play the game we are interested in. But If they force us to be in constant grief zones then we will vote with our feet and find other games to play. At the moment this is the best game on the market. When it ceases to be so it will lose population. Business rise and fall on the vision of their owners. When they lose focus they lose profit. Admin was convinced that 100% target lock was necessary but it appears he is slowly getting talked out of it by a vocal minority while the majority doesn't even know the forum exists.
