We atch got ksed on obelisk the other week against risp. Pres hit first they still carried on and they won as they had 4 of there rogues and it was just me pred and a lvl 140 rogue who wasn't doing much damage cause his lvl. I said well done and then had a chat with one of there players who 'ksed' us.. So ya I am fine with the competition bring it on!

Just a question...

Would awakening be ok with it if someone actually ksed them or would they complain?


Try to come up with a decent awnser.

First off with bosses there is no such thing as a ks. Its Free For All. I'll say that til im blue in the face it looks like. So when dealing with a lost FFA battle, we are respectful. We wish others would be the same. We dont whine and complain and carry on and call names. We suck it up organize and come back with better tactics.

I mean honostly meep u of all people should know. We weren't always the top clan,we all leveled our asses off to get where we are. I've been "ksed" many times before but you know what I did? Got some plat bought some elixers of my choice and went nuts.

And on another note i like how when dude couldn't prove brookie wrong he started calling him a child. Good stuff man way to get him there. Really showed him.


Ok now for serious....if half the people would take the time to study some of the stuff about the game and learn some sheet maybe u would know there is a update coming soon. Alot of us still need rems tabs and things to get quest armor ourselves. I guess thats our fault we can kill a boss a hundred times and never get the item were after.


Seriously though now to throw some wieght around. Who the fuk u think u are poking a bear with a stick. If i keep being called a kser i just might start doing it out of spite because thats how im treated anyways.... Might just get all our druids together roll around ksing people. Because to me a thread about druids ksing you would be a better read for sure. Just saying.

YIHAAAA! exactly! i lost a boss fight (not ks) so many times i dont even remember the number. i dont see the need to remember it either as its something that happens in the game, cant unmake it happen. if you get "ksed" dont cry but show your opponents what youre made of, earn their respect, thats how you grow in this game and not by crying on forums about a clan being a strong one (wich is why every clan gets made actually, to be stronger and hopefully the strongest).

I have played on different servers where different rules exist, have also played on a server with a detailed ffa structure quite a while ago and even rosmerta itself evolved like clan banks etc. but any set of rules is based on some social construct created in that community. It is not game supported, just moral fiction..choices that people make because theres no game engine restriction. So i think thats why theres differences because it is largely based on varying points of views.

Rispetto is far from a perfect clan. We may have lapses of judgment, admittedly so. I myself have engaged in a ks battle with awakening a couple of times i gave a go signal to attack and have regretted it because id like to try to be consistent. So i apologize about that. But yes our policy is no ks others, no matter what clan, to try to be consistent. It is our choice to be different. And i would like to keep it that way, for the most part have been able to.

If everything was fair, i would love competition. But currently fair rules dont exist where a healthy competition can thrive.

I wrote the following, a post to be read by our clan. It is my own personal opinion and may not reflect what everyone thinks. I wrote primarily to win them over, and prevent taking from the smaller clans. But i might as well share,

"I know that if im challenging someone who is 50 levels below me, its not competition. In fact id be a coward if i tried, where is challenge when i know 100% i will win?

I know if im ksing someone who doesnt own the gear that i own im a jerk. That is like me shooting a wrangler with a space gun. Where is challenge when my space gun could make the very ground he stands on disappear?

No when the stake is so little, it is not competition What it is to me is an unncessarily misplaced boost in self esteem. A third grade bullying another kid cuz his momma feeds him an insane amount of dairies.

No it is not the way of the game. And it shouldnt have to be. I choose not to ks cuz i want to make a difference in rosmerta. I want a gaming environment where people dont need to be uncivilized and barbaric. Isnt it logical to wait for ur turn? It will spawn again, Why would u take something that is already claimed by someone else?

Idk about u but i feel good when i know i can ks someone but i stop myself cuz i know its not an even match. And i win over my own selfish nature. That i think is the bigger challenge. Why dont people try to battle the devil inside of them?

Its just a game. Who are u kidding? Then why do u spend time bothering to make friends? Admit it. Its an online niche for real people. Why shouldnt we act as we would in real life with real people? "

Kind of cheesy i know. But that's just me.

If someone else hits first, it is theirs to finish UNLESS it is reset. Upon reset when the boss is still, we attack first, we finish it.

when you wrote that post, is when i knew that rispetto was the clan i am meant to be in.

To say that it's not competition is quite incorrect jack. Saying your making a difference by not ksing is like trying to saying you have a dream in sorry your not Martin Luther king mate. This is a game and it is made to be top of the game. You have said about ksing people 50 levels lower?? Now we don't do that I'm not running around on leveling mobs taking there kills.

Many many times I have been told it is a ks cause they hit first but out clan was gathered there. I think that's a bit of rubbish we was there preparing for the boss so we are not wasting pointless idols.

Let me ask you about the gear thing. Yes I am the most well equiped rogue on the server that's a fact at the moment. Ask yourself why I am that. I pushed myself to level to 140+ in around a month of playing which allowed me to get the best gear faster then anyone else. If your truly think awakening is a bad clan then you can ask anyone in our clan I gear everyone with things I don't need in my clan. Not sell much like you guys do I simply give my stuff away to help my clan.

The simply fact you act like your better then us because you 'don't ks'' is quite untrue. I don't force my clanmates to ks. When they join I say don't kill normal mobs it's wrong there is plenty but bosses are 'free for alls' it's the players choice.

Our clan will never have super strict rules on what goes on cause I believe this is a game where your own choices matter. I'll take the fact that you have been spreading a few bad rumours about me also saying I am greedy I have heard from a few people very offensive. You didn't complain when I gave nancy her helm and boots of frozen for free.

This is a game at the end of the day and trying to make it perfect will not et you anywhere I do what's best for my clan and for those who like competition they should join cause its constant fun fighting for a boss and we are always happy to win and lose. Awakening wasn't always top epic use to bash us over and over again haters only appear when they can't compete.

Almost forgot to say. Jack without the competition that awake brought to your clan you would not have the high levels in it now. Many of your clan has leveled up to beable to compete with awakening. This has made our server strong. Have alook at many others where no competition is. Some can not yet do aggra as on this server 2 clans can do it. 1 very efficiently and the other not so efficiently but an achievement none the less. Without the competition brought the game gets boring so ya you need us so don't hate what you need.

I will indulge u with a reply this time.

If u read me carefully, there was no bashing of clan awakening in my post, the clan i started as well. Simply because its stupid to generalize when i have dear friends whom i have respect for still in that clan. So i dont think ur clan is bad. Do i disapporve of cerrain peoples actions in ur clan? I may have or still may but i reserve right to an opinion which i did not even bring up.

I think theres an intrinsic motivation to bettering urself. I rhink we would still desire to level up to increase our capacity to boss minus certain factors such as what uve stated, But a well meaning purpose u have to aid and motivate us, kudos.

As for helping nancy, im not aware of that. But thank you if u did. I would not question purpose or intention such as trying to recruit her maybe. i give u the benefit of the doubt.

But like i said, all this is valuarion we make based on what we deem important. Sadly, we do not agree. Which should remind u why we are in separate clans.

As for boredom, im never bored.

Well nancy is cheif of awake as far as I am aware. So recruiting is not a problem we was friends back then before the problem was caused over a battle at deadroot. Where we was 'wrong' for what we did even though we was gathered for about 2 mins before one of your members came and hit it and then we ksed for taking a boss we think should defiantly be a free for all. The true fact is I love havin 2 or more strong clans on a server. Many of our players love it too. Clan rivalrys happen cause of this of corse because people take thing far to much to heart. When we fight for a boss it's not on a personal level it's simple we want the kill cause we need the drops or gold.

You was killing we can kill faster we took. Means our group was better prepared for the boss at the time on 99% of the fights.
We are killing and you can kill faster you can take and it wouldn't bother me if you did. Just means its my fault for not preparing enough before we take the boss.

You took aggra a few weeks ago and used a lot of plat. If we wasn't in server you would have just waited to be prepared fully but due to competition you know you have to take it fast. So you took and that's great and we said gratz for taking although I think more preparation would be required on your part to figure out the best way of taking it.

But I am going on. Your right you didnt bash me in your post. What I am more annoyed about is how you speak ill of some of my members in game for the way they play. We have 2 different playing styles I respect the reasons for yours yet you have no respect for why we do ours. I do not nor never will need to point out faults in another clan to get members who have just joined yours. This is where the bashing comes in from your and your generals behalf. I welcome people in to our clan and hope thy enjoy it. If they don't they are also welcome to leave without any friendship or love lost from myself. We are 2 clans with 2 different playing styles but the stuff that's being said about my clan to my new members from ur clan is rude and inappropriate on every level. It's not needed on any level.

Basiclly what I am saying we compete on bosses at the moment and welcome anyone who loves that

Your competeting by slagging myself and some of our members off and giving us a terriable name for ourselves making whoever is in awakening seem like a bad person.

Which type of competition seems more civil when you look at it like that.
