I am curious on this. What is considered a true support class??

I think its a class that helps others in any way be it cloaking them, taking the aggro off them, healing them, debuffing the mob so it takes more damage, giving the attacker more dmg, debuffing the mob to deal less damage..... basically everything that any skill does that can change the outcome of a battle but doesnt directly hurt the mob

All classes can.
rouges can buff damage and lower mobs defence
Rangers heal and bolas
Warriors taunt and hold the mob
druids heal and buff
mages cloak and debuff and they have the energy regain thingy (also the lures can pull aggro so they can hold it off you if your going to die

You could probably ad a warrior that's taunts for you while you fight.

Well technically yes .

A druid will debuff, buff, bark , ward and heal hp.
A support mage will lure , heal ep sacriface, cloak fire and energy boost.
A tank adds Will tank adds aways from The target boss and killing party .
Cleaners Usually will keep clean any mobs the may interfere with support druids/mages ( rogue or warrior) .

In less support role a ranger could heal and conceal or act like cleaner.

But usually is a permanent build in any class to do one particular task .

The question was which classes is considered a true support class. Not which classes can support a grp in a boss fight. It is which called is classified as support.

For me the only pure support class are druids . Regardless of the build they should have a decent hp heal .

All other classes are a build made to be support only .

U cant forget the mages also. They a classafied as support to. Now i maybe be wrong but druids and mages are support, while warriors rogue and Rangers are melee. I just want a simple answe on this.

Find me a druid that debuffs. Actually find me a druid move that debuffs.
