This sounds like your Platinum transaction has not completed, and this is what is causing your issue.

I know you said you went to a friends house to try his Wi-Fi, but could you try using a different Wi-Fi connection to that? It may be that your Wi-Fi provider may have an issue. If you connecting using a different Wi-Fi connection the Platinum transaction should complete. Be sure to use the same device that you made the purchase on.

It takes a lot of guts to admit when you act in an irrational manner. I applaud you for doing so. It shows a level of maturity that not everyone is capable of.

I hope you get your problem solved sooner than later. I am sorry that we (as a community) weren't able to help you with the problem, but I am glad that we were able to pull more information from you... that may possibly help someone else. I hope you give us an update as to what the Apple store says. Again, it may help someone in the future who runs into a similar problem.

As I said, I have always been able to troubleshoot the plat problems by following the advice in the article I linked, or by trying a few other things (the article only says to load another app, for example, but I found I needed to pretend to make a purchase, for example). Sorry that I assumed you hadn't done that, and another sorry for assuming that your issue was the same as the ones I have encountered. Looks like you have a different problem, and hopefully it is something we can all learn from.

I think that plat purchases work like Amazon... Barnes and Noble may print the book, but if the book you ordered doesn't arrive, you need to deal with Amazon. Similarly, I expect Apple to be able to help you.

Okay, big issue here. Turns out I have to make an appointment with apple, made one for Wednesday. Don't know why they had me make an appointment but its whatever. Now, I finally was able to login, but, not exactly. When I logged in I was at the castle, and nobody was showing up, no players or npcs. And my stats had like 8000000 points that haven't been distributed. I was kind of like, ''Okay, what the [explicit]''. It didn't kick me like it did before, but I still had no platinum and couldn't travel anywhere else other than the castle. Is it just me, or is this getting really, really weird..? I logged out and tried to log back in only to find the same issue as before, no characters or way to make a new one. If it happens again I'll screenshot it, I didn't think of it at the time but now it's starting to seem really fantastical, even to me. I'm stuck on this one guys.

That is MASSIVELY wild. I've heard of people glitching for a few minutes to have crazy stats... but never heard of being on your own server.

Had a thought. This won't exactly help your problem, but it might help to rule out some things.

Do you have access to another device? I am just thinking that if you download the game and try to log in on another device, you might be able to isolate the problem.

Example. Put the game on a second device at your home. If you can log into your account without any problems, it might suggest that your main device is the problem. If you have the same problems, it might suggest the wi-fi, or your account is the problem. (obviously, your plat won't come to that device, but if the game runs smoothly otherwise, you might have a clue to use/help with your Apple store visit.)

If you think it might be the device you use:

1. Check your free memory. (Settings - General - About) I have heard that not having enough available memory makes the app run strangely. If you only have a few MBs free, maybe try deleting some music or videos.

2. Do you have a Mac? You could try to repair permissions on the iDevice.

Of course, Wednesday isn't far off. Hopefully they will be able to really solve your problem.

The game runs fine if I'm not logged in, so it has to be my apple account, but the account worked fine until I bought platinum with it. Now it is just crapping out on me. If Apple can't help I just don't know what else to do.. Ugh, I'm so frustrated.

Alright, It's definitely my apple account. I couldn't even login on another device. It said the username and password were wrong, and I know that's bullcrap. Apple has got to be able to fix this.

By internet changes, what do you mean? Was there some sort of a firewall you had to disable or something? If you explain what you had to do, it might help someone in the future.
