I agree with the concept of learning the hard way. Many times, I tried explaining that further punishment won't teach a lesson but living the concequence is a great punishment on its own.

Say a construction worker was always reminded to wear a hardhat. One day, he/she didn't and a bit of lumber falls and splits this person's head. After a slow recovery, the worker has now hopefully learned their lesson, right? Should everyone around give that person sh*t for it? No, what happened to them is their own fault and if they do it again, that's all on them!

When being scammed, you obviously didn't avoid it. If it happens again, three things could have happened.
1. Got scammed by someone you trust
2. Got scammed through a different method
3. Got scammed the same way again

So if you got scammed for the 2nd+ time, you should now have learnt all your lessons the hard way. If you got scammed by the "Got scammed the same way again" outcome, you deserve that! You deserve no pity. Don't bother coming on here and complaining in that case.

Follow the rules and suggestions and you won't be scammed!

The one scam I feel for people on is people they trust. Like really trust.. Known for a long time, lent gear to each other and xfered a number of times. I do really feel for the people that get scammed like that because at this current time, theirs no way to Xfer unless you have a 2nd device, without using someone you trust.

I happily lend people my camo charm to get to Aggy as that's how much trust I have in them. Have lent to over 10 different people. The thing is, any one of these people could scam me and take my item, but that is on me.

Yes, being scammed by someone you trust is really unfortunate and I feel for them. That being said, I do watch who I lend things to. I don't ever trade my camo to anyone! I've had people I trust ask me and I don't feel bad saying no.

I watch for who I can trust and get them to transfer for me every so often. When I have someone transfer for me, I either let someone else know whats going on (witness(es)) or take screenshots for records. Learn from this!

Honestly though, I've seen a few people scammed from xfering with people they barely even know. I just think that's a stupid mistake a d that should teach people their lesson.

The problem is on Rhiannon, theirs a player that has been round for a huge amount of time, is actually a good player, but no one knows who he really is. What he will do is create alts, and because he comes across as a nice, respectful guy.. He will manage to get into top clans, gain trust, and then scam people whilst xfering or borrowing gear. (for those from Rhiannon that don't know who I'm talking about, the FAKE Poontang.

My personal opinion and experience is that someone who claims not to be a scammer usually is.
