I was walking through Dustwither when I noticed a mob that I think was called Dustwither Soulwalker. I killed it and it dropped a ruby soul orb. What does a ruby soul orb do, and how much is it worth if I don't need it?

Things like rubies, diamonds and crystals with another name after them, like soul orb or boar tusk etc and needed to upgrade your warden weapon, I'm not sure what is needed for each class but I will look for a link or you.

As Donko said, those sorts of items can be for Warden upgrades.... The Ruby Soul Orb, however, seems to be a vendor item.
