I have a feeling that would be insanely hard to code and would extend update start by another month at least... So please no

Nerf idols so that zerging can't happen and set the lock so that I every member dies once lock resets

I still dont agree with you in the idols issue if you are not there and its balance target lock in place the dont abuse idols in ffa competition ,idols zerging will not be a issue .

The idea for target lock suggest if all members die once is only being based on current bosses as we have no idea how these bosses will fight. For all we know they can have bosses us attacks on the members with lowest agro like druids and cast a aoe skill on them which would easly lead to each member dying once. Also for current bosses one simple mistake near the end could cost the entire group the lock with only 5% hp to go which wouldnt work. Atm to much is unknown and this idea could be very good or very bad but same is said for every idea i personally dot want any target lock but it seems the 20% of ppl do and OTM is goin with their opinion this time.

I think more then 20% of players want target lock. I just don't think the active board community is the right target audience for taking a survey. Many of the outspoken members are higher level players and members of the top clans on their server. Most players are not willing to stand up to them in a public forum.

I commend OTM for taking the lower level players into consideration as well since this is a free to play game with micro payments encouraging the use of things like idols to gain advantage by using real world dollars.
Nobody would pay real money if there was no advantage to be had.

I doubt its more than 20% want lock , either way as admin proposed it , it's not too too bad .

And if fromens way of lock works idols would be irrelevant to me tbh I only care about boss zerging for changing idols .
Yea admins idea isnt all that bad it just makes it faster then it already is to gaurentee that ur group gets the drops. Depending on the percantage needed for the lock. As for the idol issue a 60 sec and harder hitting bosses would be able to fix this imo.

They are implementing target lock to give a fair chance to everyone not just the high levels who want to dominate all the bosses and monopolize quest items like falgren and dragon discs. I don't understand but there are still players that are 140-150 camping falgren for stupid dragon discs. I'm somewhat glad they are implementing target lock not that it benefits me but that it gives lower level players a chance at fal finally. I've never sold a dragon disc don't know that I ever will but I'm all for making this game more balanced. Now to stay on topic.

Most of you are complaining that it's not fair for lower level players with unbalanced group to kill a boss with lots of idols that you feel you deserve more than them. Yet I hear of alot of low level players complaining about how unfair it is for higher level players with unbalanced groups to kill falgren or other quest bosses because they don think u deserve it more than them. It seems to me that both sides have fair arguments. I'm not saying that I'm against idols being redone to make it fair for both higher levels and lower levels. My suggestion would be as someone already mention to make idol cooldown somewhat longer with each idol used within a certain amount of time. This would make it so that if an unbalanced group tries to kill a boss and spam idols there group would reset sooner or later before the boss dies due to the long cooldown on their idols. BOOM! Problem solved.

-1, That's not fair because lower levels who can't afford to buy plat can't do bosses to get gold , so all the higher levels will be rich and always with the lower levels with crappy gear, and in poverty

Low levels should level up and make groups that can kill bosses

And this isn't a morrigan thing this is about use of idols in the entire game

If you kill the boss because you idol 10+ times then you shouldn't have killed it
