Re: Do you think the U.S.A. needs stricter gun laws?

Not allowed to have them loaded because if a kid shoots themselves with your gun in your house, you are guilty of manslaughter by omission
Having a loaded gun in your house is just plain stupid I think. Anyone that handles guns will be able to load one quick enough if needed. Honestly its really not about control, it is about our second amendment rights and what our country was founded on. I think sometimes a little wild west justice wouldnt do this county any harm. Just a thought. ;)
Think about the circumstances around the second ammendment. This was made when Americans faced internal threats from native americans and the wilderness and outer threats from foreign countires. We didnt have a strong, organized army to protect ourselves from foreign threats and didnt even have a police to protect us from native americans and big-arse bears. The second ammendment was necessary then. Is it necessary now? No, do away with it.

Apollo I understand your thought and for some Americans I could very well agree with your logic; however where I live which is a very country setting with over 200 acres just on my families one farm a gun is necessary for coyotes and wild dogs. Plus its nice to have to put a little extra meat in the freezer from wild game. :D

if you take away the tools for lethal crime, its easier to prevent it.

if i can buy a gun at a store and shoot someone because i'm mad at them, how exactly did guns protect the person who needed protecting. guns are a catalyst for murder and crime not a prevention
