It would be nice to have some feedback from Rosmerta on what is considered a KS. This was posted on the General Discussion. There were some outliers, but for the most part everyone considered only the The I'm Bigger Than You Are to be a KS. Hopefully, we can come to some kind of agreement and relieve some of the toxic and insulting talk. But if not, maybe we can just understand each other a little more.

Different Scenarios:
The Stare-Down
Group staring down boss/PH, debating whether to attack. High levels runs it, doesn't hesitate to attack and kills. Is this KS?

The If-You-Go, I-Go
Two groups staring at boss. One starts, the other immediately starts. Second group gets kill. Is this KS?

The I'm Right Behind You
People are gathering at boss. Most of one group is there. Only one or two of the other group is there. The one or two start knowing that the rest of their clan is on their way. Other group jumps in and gets kill. Is this KS? The reverse is also questionable. Is it a KS to start when one group is mostly there, but your clan is not?

The I'm Bigger Than You Are
One group is fighting boss. A high level or two runs up and starts attacking. High levels get kill. Is this KS?

Thoughts:
My biggest problem with a First Hit KS rule is it does not allow for clans to organize. Imagine having most of your clan at Lava, with more than enough to kill. You were waiting for a clan member to arrive who needed for quest. In the meantime, a rival clan member runs up and hits, hoping to use the I'm Right Behind You. Instead, your clan jumps in a kills. IMHO, this is not a KS. Some may disagree.

The developers realize the problem with a first strike rule. That's why the target lock will activate after a certain amount of damage, not the first hit.

No such thing as a KS here in my eyes except while someone is leveling or killing normal mobs, many feel differently about this though.

If someone wants to solo a boss maybe he needs a mind tab or something, let him. First hit UNLESS reset. Upon reset, it is clear he is not able to take that boss or his clan is not fast enough. Upon reset the boss is restored to its untouched state and is open again for a hit. Camped bosses, ok to ffa in my opinion as both waited.

Im ok with target lock. 20 percent initial damage. But would like bosses classified, stonevale bosses for the right levels, no need 150 levels taking from level 100 who have started it.. Something i hope can be worked out.

Ramen I completely disagree just beacause you can take the boss doesn't mean you deserve it. 4 tanks and 12 Druids could of killed king dreadbone easy. Should they get the kill. *** no they group is unbalanced. If that was the case why would there be need of mages rangers and rogues. To say that first hit rule is a way in showing they can't take is correct but I think if they take 30-1hour to kill ironspike they deserve to be ksed that is an easy boss. They will learn to bring some dps which they need to. It's a learning curve. The only boss that should take 30 mins plus is aggraorth and maybe only maybe ignus if your trying to save idols cause that cloak is a ***. This is the reason I don't like first hit rule. It makes some classes pointless.

i don't feel balanced aswell when 5 rogues team come and fight a boss when the other clan is fighting it with a full team. and tbh when it happens, i get pissed because we do all tthe work and you get the kill. if we weren't here you couldn't have got. (thats a theoritical approch like you did over)

tbh it's pointless to talk abt ksing anymore, we have been trying to solve it. and it isn't working out. lets wait new lock system and i hope that it will solve some of the problems.

Your right it isn't balanced but that a rare picture. The new lock has been said to be around 20-25% by admin so that will leave competition aswell as people taking bosses they shouldn't. While stoping the big bad boys coming in

on my personal opinion, i would be for the ffa for the lock, but thats again my personal thoughs. But we will have to see on the ground what it is abt. and 20% looks good for me.
just a question tho, if you get the lock, would everyon see it?

Yes admin has posted that it will go grey for people without lock but blue for people with. Also it would say in main group who did most damage outra everyone I believe even if they was outside group. So I would keep fighting and ask if I won lol.
