For those who complain about me whining i realise i seem noobish but i can level to 125 in 2 hrs from 121 my rogues current level. I dont need to level in area when i can simply camp on one account and level a second on another device.
On lugh i seem to be the most conservant with elixirs. I used 2 elixes to level at 120 no excessive grinding or questing. I am not complaining about anything but the class drop rates and spawn time. This is my second time on this quest and i have spent over 2 months for my druid and now im almost at 2 months for my rogue and have only seen personally 2 purple lions drop in this time. And the other purple lions that have dropped ive heard about were only 6 now 8 lions of a class in 2 months isnt fair. The amount of blue lions that drop is substancially higher than any other class we get roughly 2-3 a week which is extremely high compared to any other class. People have actually decided to drop blue lions as they dont sell. I am complaining for a good reason. Many others are complaining about the lack of red lions on our server i would just like to see a formula implemented that changes the drop rate of each class drop to give better chance for the highest amount of people of that class to get their required drop that are actually doing the quest? This same formula could be used for new bosses that have class restricted drops. And if no one was doing the quest then the drop rate would be equal for each class.
I don't think it's whining. Its just discussing something you see as a problem. There are many quest bottlenecks in this game. This one seems related in part to the numbers of classes on different servers and drop chances.
Of course some higher levels will dismiss this with the usual " I had to do it so you should too" response.
They ignore changes to the game and possibly different class numbers. And they also forget there were less high levels hoarding these things back in the prehistoric era when they started. CH was a land of Milk and Honey then and no one complained at all !!
I too am looking for Lions but I see parallels in the meteric tab and rems bottleneck. There the problem isnt so much drop frequency (though the various Diamonds take forever) but rather players who are over level 100 that seem to dominate the bosses. In the Rem/tab/Diamond market, money talks.
I am afraid if people are hoarding Lions (and other crests?) we had all better start saving.
I think
the drop rates should NOT be increased (well maybe a teensie bit) but just adjusted as you have suggested to meet current class ratios. OTMs developers can do it...we have faith.
I don't want to feel forced to buy quest items to finish the quest in a reasonable time and 2 months and no outcome ie even 1 Lion seems too long.
