Is ancient the best gear out right now for ranger? I saw a couple people with winged helms, dont know the stats though- or where i can get one. Also is the ancient warbow, the best bow? Id like to know the best gear for ranger and where i can get it please and Thanks

winged gear = Warden Gear.
Ancient is second to the best. Warden Set tops it, and you can't just buy it.
you'll have to do a series of Stonevale quest by beating all the bosses there and collecting Fragments for you to craft Warden Weapon and armor.
You'll see the order of Bosses you need to fight from my Lvl 70-90 Boss pictures.

i still prefer wearing tanned darkrun for my rogue.. they look more fashionable than the golden ancients. unless i get the warden ones... elms...where are you? crown too... i wish drops are more than one.. really frustrating to just get one disc..

Exile you seem to be very knowledgable i dont even know if thats a word but i have a few more questions. Which bosses in stonevale do i kill? Are they 6 stars? Whats with disc frags and what do i do with them after i get some? Thanks ahead of time man

You have "Warden quests" Every warden ask for specific disks. If you can trade those you will get a piece of the armor set.

example: 1 oak disc and 1 moon disc will get you a set of boots.

Bosses:
Fellfire
spellfire
spirehoof
"dark druid"
"Blue whisp"

Discs:
Elm
Crown
Oak
Moon
sun

i dont realy like ancient. i don't know why i bought it. reason why is because ancient has no attk bonus
and since i dont even get touched by an enemy cause of bolas and when bossing only the tank is taking damage
so i guess this is a matter of opinion

yeahp, what DS said. but certain Discs only drops from specific bosses. you have to gather a full group or have some people help out dmg it,and have someone willing to tank ( will cost em pots) best way is to help chip in pots if u guys can.
