Giving credit when credit is due

I don't believe anyone appreciates the true genius of SirSmokes' gameplay. Prior to OW update, he freely achieved a high level at the expense of anyone in his path in the bottle-necked Stone and he accomplished this alone. As he KSed everyone in sight, he had no care for others in the world and enjoyed the negative reactions, taunting them along the way. As someone who leveled solo to 75, I appreciated his freedom and carefree attitude. I joined a noob clan and did pretty well, beginning to understand and enjoy the teamwork of a clan in an MMO. At the OW update, my clan folded and it was obvious that flying solo was not going to be feasible, plus I was enjoying being part of a clan. I then joined another noob clan and have not turned back.

I imagine SirSmokes came to a similar conclusion regarding the feasibility of progressing in the OW without a clan. This is where his genius really became evident as he pulled one of the most impressive coups in the history of Rhiannon. After the major clans had labeled him an enemy and agreed on how to deal with him (how epic of a toon he is to have such attention from the clans), he convinced one of those clans to accept him. I was like, "Wtf?...How did he do that?" I was shocked and dumbfounded (not unusual for me) when I heard the news, but looking back at it now, I just have a ton of respect for his guile and powers of persuasion.

Then, time moved along, no one bitched, no one complained about SirSmokes (He deserves the 'Sir' title IMO) because he played nice and I imagine built up a ton of cred with his clan. Then, as the higher level toons bottle-necked for xp grinding at wyverns (see prior reference to bottle-necking in this post), a hint of his old ways, a trickle of his tricks, began to resurface. And so, the *** began and the complaining continued, all focused on one toon's actions (I make a distinction here, because it is in actions, not words, as irl, that the truth is told). Again, he displays his amazing cunning and convinces his clan that he is the victim, because he is being teased and taunted by the bitchers and complainers. He then threatens to make the bitchers and complainers suffer more if he is booted from his clan, thereby convincing all that it is in everyone's interest for him to stay in his clan. I am in awe of him. He is truly a living legend of Rhiannon.

SirSmokes, Arch-Villain of Rhiannon, Keeper of the Drama,

I SALUTE YOU!

Long live SirSmokes!

Xer out! (Ha! I love that SirSmokes, you are the best! Good times, Good times)

P.s.
I propose all hats off for SirSmokes this weekend in his honor.

P.s.s. please don't *** or complain about this post or I will tell my mom (aka, Admin)

They keep him for 2 reasons. 1, eve is a bit power hungry and he has the dps they need. 2, he is 'friends' with his clannies.

When I left, he turned into a complete ass toward me. He blocked me and associated me with scumbags. He also stopped being nice to greek when she joined. SirSmokes, a true rogue!

You made a complete ass of yourself when you gave eve no choice but to boot you. Truth is i never had respect for you, and we have had conversations as to why. You disgrace yourself on these forums by crying about how other warriors are better than you. You told me that people overlooked you as a tank - didnt we both agree that you never stepped up and said i can tank? You always just stayed quiet waiting for people to ask you. Maybe if you stepped up instead of acting like a baby, you'd still be in this games top clan.

As for Greek, i never knew her. She would randomly friend request me all the time and try to be buddy buddy with me - she did this on her own and would beg all the time for me to accept her friend request. When she join a rival clan, i blocked her. You people cry just because i kill you in arena....the same "offense" the general section laughed at you for even bringing up.

How's this for showing your clans "character". Fastreflex in your clan would come and ffa me on rag talking unfathomable. When I called for help from clan to get my daily done, he wouldn't ever group with me again. Just because i did what im supposed to do, he won't grp with me ...lol. This was before anything happened in wyvs. Also, Ghandi evasive, notso....random taunts all the time for no reason. Because you all don't feel i should be in a top clan. Tough unfathomable.

I will say this again. When I was "ksing everyone omg"...I ksed sin and respect. Mostly naevia. Rest of the time i was afk killing. You guys blew unfathomable waaay out of proportion. You just don't like me period.

Drac, why not post screens like that when you start the thread? Must have been a random time when i was looking for clouds or something. Still unfamiliar with the mob, but now i know what ur training on. Thanks! I'd love to see a date on that screenshot in relation to your @eve post.

Xer, did u post this because i killed u in arena while u were waiting for rag? The amount of crying that goes down on this server is amazing....thanks for the props though.

Ps, my warning was in response to Dracs threat. If you all didnt notice....all of the accounts of me being a *** to your members are after they talk or say some dumb unfathomable to me first. Dont talk to me, dont get anything in return. Simple as that.

You didn't even know why I got kicked
You wanna know why? Because I was being a smart ass, talking to guardians that I don't get along with. I was offered a spot back under the condition that I show some humiliation. Choosing not to go back shows strength, rather. And yeah, I would say I was treated like unfathomable in eve, having to constantly speak up about the rules when I keep getting the short stick. I would always speak up about tanking but then I read, "we can't do it. Air isn't on". Is it my fault eve requires plat to kill a boss and if my health drops past 3/4 on stonelord, I'm not good enough?

Whether you had respect for me or not, I doubt you respect a majority of your own clannies. You don't just target specific people, you target the whole clan. I stood up for you when others complained about you, just like kingraaa and a bunch of others. Now I see how you really are. You call us scumbags when your no better.

SirSmokes...I am honored that u have responded directly to me. My post occurred before u killed me in the arena, but after u killed Hyden and took Rag without any provocation (Hyden and I tend not to start problems). I could care less about Rag...

I wonder though, how your leadership would react if an agreed upon courtesy of our world were to be so blatantly disregarded by our clannies toward their members...not that it really matters to u and of course I am not suggesting it should matter to u, I like u the way u are and I know exactly what and how u are.

Well I have doubled my number of posts on this forum in a couple of days...gotta rest up another year before I post again.

Too funny, Xer

But on a serious note.. Blaze is a top tank and one of the best in Rhiannon hands down.

It is not down to a tank to keep their health up.. That's the druids job so if a tank dies, it's the druids fault, not the tanks. A tanks role is simply to hold aggro of the boss. Gotta be aware and control any surrounding adds if needed. Take a pounding and time shield bashes efficiently to interrupt a bosses skills.

To repeat.. It's not a tanks fault if they die.
