Re: Warhead's guide to a perfect tank

I have a question, although it may be hard to answer.

Does warcry do the same to a boss as a taunt of the same lvl?
No. Like all AoE, it's less effective. That is, you get less aggro/mob but you can get aggro from many mobs at once, which has proven to be useful in the new wyvern area.

How is it being hypocritical ? The only real tank is warrior hands down . If you take a statement out of context you can warp it any way you want to .

Lol I show you I don't know how to tank other bosses than Aggy ? This statement makes no sense at all , maybe there is a language issue with this one idk.

And on your other whiney posts I've never said warrior should only be tank , I've said they shouldn't do same dps as rogue/ranger, you ask for too much .

Arguing with you is like arguing with a block of wood .
sometimes i rather arguing with a block of wood.
anyway, this is not a perfect tank, dex adds defence which is good, warcry is very good when ow bosses call adds and druid takes aggro cuz they heal before someone gets to hit, so warcry is a very fast skill that helps taking also the boss' aggro and adds' aggro too
theres no such thing as "skill above lvl 15 is crap", so pummel above 15 is crap, g.swing above 15 is crap, proc.stance above 15 is crap, isnt it? nope it isnt
anyway, health isnt everything as warrior, like when ppl think that royal wind shield is better than mountain cuz of the vit, tried both. guess whos better (lil hint : i kept for some reason the mountain one :) )

btw, if ur going as tank build with skill dmg and no foc, pummel is better (faster casting, with low str and dex it is better, takes less energy) at least in my opinion

That's very true , war cry really is an excellent skill though , being able to insta-taunt is extremely helpful in many situations , and a 35/35 war cry for end game tanks is pretty damn powerful for pulling agro.

First off you are to low of lvl to be an effective ow tank on many bosses. And as others stated before you will need warcry, taunt, enduring guard and sheild bash. And if you do want to be a tank you should lvl up to 135+ with stats set as dps. At that lvl tanks are needed for lvling and makes you much more capable to tank bosses such as aggy, lava, stonelord etc... 8-)

No offense but this is not the perfect tank set up lol

Taunt must be maxed . Where is warcry ? Where is enduring guard ? Why bother with damage skills at all ? Also I use a small bit of str and dex on my tank , hope it helps .

Rolf .....

Warcry can be low. Anything above 15 point is a waste..... Mine work great at 7 ....
Enduring guard .... I mean is longer then cast the time it last ( waste) help in 1 hit only .....

Usually u need a few high damage skills to play the game ( tank alts. Dont need daamge skills thats your case eliminaster) lol auto in tank ...... Try it ..... With out heal or pots and see what u can kill while not tanking gets better if useda shield only as offhand hahaha ....

If u used warcry u got have sweeping blow event if lame ..... To do all are damage to all the adds you are crow controling....
R
Taunt alone is not good u need a a heavy damage hit ( grand swing. Or shield bash to take aggro back ir even pummel ) and after cast taunt to regain aggro .....

So please is not the same to play a alt as tank ,then play a tank as main or even a warrior ... For the matter ... Yes original Poster. Have flaws on his post ..... Thats a build will not tank much and in the moment he died he will never regain aggro until a complete group swip occurrs ....
haha you dont need any stat points in any other than vitality to be a PURE tank, and seriously, your gonna argue with Eliminator? im sure he knows more about the game than you my friend
Dude, for been playin way longer

giant swing get rid of sweeping blow get rid of keep stance, add enduring guard warcy, shield bash maybe and if u dont have warcy taunt. max taunt or warcy, enduring guard and protective stance and u need focus so u can use ur skill becuase otherwise usless so i say do a like 4:1 ration health:focus or 3:2

Well if your sig is accurate I would say you must have lots of Druids or lots of idols . And if your initial tank build is accurate and you don't have bash or taunt maxed either you have weak sauce dps or lots of dead dps . But you could be 150 and not have updated sig . You might be talking about the 5 star lava/stonelord placeholders .
