Good Idea, the team probably thought this was going to change da world to world peach, didn't look at the player's side effect thoughts. You were merely jobbed for yer experience. Not quite an equal yet. And OMG the new before you post this, someone else posted this is annoying!!!

me and volde are "employed" by community. and he only works normal hours GMT, so mornings for me which can make communication scant as i am at school in the mornings. i assure you we will be discussing these rules as i too find them a bit absurd. however, i continue to adhere to them because i treat this like a job. OTM respects me enough to give me this position so i believe i owe them that respect back. needless to say i have a few things to shove up community's nose tomorrow.

I think it is time when fan sites and player ran forums spring into action, these forums are becoming too "ruley" to the point of not being able to keep our clan members and servers safe.

Why not do this? Make a new forums from the many free forum websites out there and spread the news to the players and stop using this forums except to report bugs feedback and suggestions.

The problem with all these scammers, and people going against the TOS, is that their are no moderators whatsoever. The solution isn't to appoint people to become the moderator on a world, but to implement an automatic moderating system. So say a random player says that their taking bets before for gambling, the moderating system would recognize something in the wording or action being taken, as against the TOS. This could include things such as: Asking for account info, World Transfers, Spamming, Swearing, etc. This system would be able to track the information like the support team usually does, and would recognize it either as against TOS or not against TOS.

This is the only implementation that I could see OTM using, that would both satisfy in-game users, and forum users, giving people breaking the rules the punishment they deserve.

Chels is right. Some posts I found were quite disappointing.

All this issues are because of their flexibles policies.


I mean now we cant give a warning about those multi-worlds scammers , i dont believe in the " tell on x players for them to investigated " because truly doesnt help anyone all items on trade are lost " all trades are Finals" but i still believe the same scammers from 16+ months ago still doing the same. Make a solid in game policy not flexible as all your policy are.

I personal I'm 50/50 on this changes some are necesary , others well they will keep feeding the grey area of the scammers going away unpunished This is nothing new they jump server to server scamming and have a free pass and the naive ayers the make 1 mistake will get ban .


But they are going the same paths as other companies censorship soon all post will be only moderators and employees from otm. Like other game forums outhere.

you guys understand the if forums are full with scamming issues this give a bad reputation to the game when a new players join and see of this issue he gets a warned, but i the other hand when a reposrter makes a note and see forums are full with threads about scamming well the gives a bad rate to company all the players know scammer have a free pass. The rules are not inforce when they do inforce them are selective so they still have long way to go.
