I think that certain suggestions like 'Santa hats', holly, or sleds would be appropriate, but we shouldn't go overboard with candy canes and other Christmas fare. It would be nice if at least some of the content for this holiday reflected medieval Celtic/Pagan traditions, since that is approximately the setting for the game, and Christianity would have only just begun to spread throughout the region (if at all). Sadly, I haven't been able to drum up much info on the web about winter solstice festivals in the Celtic tradition on the web, but I am sure that the info is there somewhere. In additon, I am sure that there is some scholarly research on the topic to be found but that may invole, gasp, actually physically going into a library and reading...

EDIT: It would be nice if the landscape and sky textures could be changed to show a light dusting of snow. Tons of snow would prob not be realistic for the region, but I am sure that it happened once in a while. Brooms are wands that happen to look like 'mounts' by virtue of the skin/animation shown when it is not in use. (the transitions from riding to attacking and vice versa need some work btw, and if I wear my leafkilt on it you can see the there is NOTHING, literally, under it - the legs aren't attached to the rest of the sprite and you can see 'inside' him)

I don't see how someone could weild a sled like a club or other weapon without it looking all WWF Wrestlemania up in here... not really appropriate. And I believe that the mounts planned must wait until the next major update, if I am not mistaken.

I think most important is snow covered landscape.
Someone said darkflame was for warrs, but it wasnt.
