There is a clan member of mine who is the same level as me, very similar gear (for a tank setup) and has a maxed melee ability, as I do. Without protective stance, I have more armor than he. With a protective stance of 40, his armor surpasses mine by 200 even though my protective stance is 44.

His vitality with gear is not far above mine. I asked him if I could borrow a couple pieces of vit gear and casted stance. My armor rating barely went any higher than before.

So what's going on? Our levels are the same, our abilities are the same, his vitality is higher than mine (but not significant enough to upgrade his stance), my stance is 4 levels higher than his, and my default armor is a bit higher to start with.. How does he have 200 more armor than I?! We are both puzzled about this

This makes no sense to me all i know is vit starts to barely affect the increase in the skill just like str starts to cap after 300. For example i use my stance and get 1484 armor equip an aggy vit bracelet get an extra 75 vit and my armor with stance now is only 1504 so a whopping 20 armor for 75 vit. As for the amount each new skill point adds it barely increases with a new point ive noticed after 35 each point only adds about 9 points might be the same for before 35 but havent checked.

Now back to op i dont understand how u could have a default high armor then after stance have less as stated vit stops being effective after a point and since ur both tanks you both should have passed this point long ago. Only thing i could think of is that when u compared stats he used full frozen and u used some radiant or he equiped either a shield and te spear that adds armor while u hadn't done this so his rating was higher.

He told the clan about his armor rating before I asked him how. Maybe he is messing with me, but I doubt it.
