Re: Aggy cut off point vote

Yes on this matter, 75% is reasonable. I would even say 90%, meaning someone can just arrive during the start.

Another matter : There will be a point very soon, when no one will agree to dice Aggy between 60 players level 140.

I am curious to see the outcome. Certainly the new lock will solve this problem and create new ones. Main players will all be 160 in a week after V4 is realeased, some even 180.

I think the rec for Aggy may not evolve or just a bit like 150, but what will change is Aggy on lock, meaning some clans will lock aggy and accept friendly players only. Problem is someone friendly can of course be unfriendly to someone else !

i have been thinking about this issue too. The problems are multifold.

if, at some point, a single group can take aggy, along with adds - then the point is moot. we will do it like rockbelly, the group gets there, takes aggy, gets drops and is done (dicing may or may not be done). Occasionally, if a couple extra friends are there, there may be dicing - like what we do at lava or stone if 10 ppl show up at very beginning.

My guess is, after update and target lock - the aggy dicing team will be restricted to two groups or so. with the aggy team taking the target lock and the other team dealing with adds.

The main concern i see is this scenario:

a group that can tank aggy is ready to go with a group that can tank adds. They start. A third group of unaligned, undisciplined players comes - maybe rangers and rogues, and are able to get the target lock. Now you are screwed.

One solution is to stop and let the unaligned group die cause they have dps but not enough tanking/druid support. On the other hand, the unaligned group can make like very difficult by killing the tamers - making it very hard to finish aggy off.

My guess is that once the update comes, the 140+ will be in the new sections and aggy will be like rockbelly - someone on a boss runs see him up, calls their 15 closest friends, and they take him. Also, everything changes once aggy drops are very good, but no longer the best.

should be interesting though

It was hard enough getting anything with 16 people but now that it's basically free to join there is a slim chance of you getting anything other than an hour or so of your life gone. I would personally like to say cut off at 2 or maybe 3 groups max and you can't join past 75%, that way there won't be all of lugh fighting aggy at once. There should only be from my experience 5-6 druids, 2 tanks(1 for aggy and 1 for mages) and maybe 1 more to tank the adds that spawn by aggy, and the rest just pump out dps.

i'm not sure we are at the point where we want to start cutting ppl out. things are fairly friendly now - but it will get nasty if ppl start getting refused just because there are a lot of ppl (ppl getting refused for behavior is a different situation).
