Just clearing something up...

#1
I was reading through some ks and ffa topics and such. I happened to read that if a given clan member ks'd you, then it is acceptable to say the clan ks'd you.
I'm sorry, but no. Simply put... I shouldn't have to elaborate on this but it's really as simple as this... Ultimately an individual is going to do what they want regardless of what the clan wants or does. The clan is not responsible for an individuals actions. The clan leaders should be informed that their members are ks'ing but not blamed for it. If the clans leaders don't care and do nothing to help resolve the conflict, then the clan can be held under the microscope. If we all continue to jump to playing the blame game, everyone will get frustrated. Hope this helps people to see the problem with the current standards and leads to a revision of they way people think about this. If possible the top 20 (or 10) clans need to come up with a good set of standards that everyone can agree on and understand.
Chill out people. In the end, we are all playing the same GAME here so just have fun.

I hope this is in the right section. This seems pretty Rhiannon specific, but then again that's where I play so... :P

Sounds like that individual is not a team-player. We have a similar thread in Morrigan boards, and as I mentioned there, all clan members represent their clan, and all their actions - good or bad, will reflect upon their clan's name. Ultimately, the leader is responsible for all his clan member's action, just like in any other organization, a rogue member is the responsibility of the leadership.

I won't quote myself, but if you read all of what I said you will understand. A rogue clannie should be dealt with. But again they are going to do what they want. If their clan leader will not deal with the problem, then label the clan. Once again, jumping to blaming the clan is ridiculous if the leader of that clan has not been informed. Simply put.
(If that wasn't clear, which in truth I don't know if it was :p, then let me put it this was. I agree that if the clan leaders don't care, the clan should be labeled. But if they are uninformed then... Well just think about it, it should make sense.) haha pretty much just restated myself...

I understand what you are saying. But each clan member has a clan tag and that identifies them as part of an organization. If a soldier wearing a US Army uniform marches into a North Korean establishment and kills somebody, the US Military will get the blame. Same thing. Whether it's right or wrong, that's the impression people will get, that's just normal.

This is a generalisation but just because one person ks in a clan doesnt mean u blam tht clan yes the clan is responsible for there members actions but it is hard to control a whole clan so one members actions doesnt represent the whole clan. :|
