Re: Protective stance vs enduring guard

bolas is in movement evasion and not physical
My point was that it (End Guard) sounds like it works similar to those evasion skills we don't need to put skill points in (tho we need to 'train' them).
It boosts your physical attack evasion... Damage skills that are not spells have less of a chance to hit. It works like an evasion ability because it boosts one of them. That's all it is.
Wow... that sucks.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks blaze i did try edit my comment but obviously took too long. Once i re-read the previous posts again it sunk in and the answer came too me lol. Another noob question, could it help with evading a melee hit like pummel?

Physical skills fall under fortitude, so use this.
Huh, nice diagram!

If I read this correctly, the closest skill for End Grd is Fortitude? So against something like Eye Piercing Gaze?

It does instant Damage. not DoT, it doesn't affect movement, and is not a spell but a skill.

Well technically, skills such as protective stance and enduring guard do not fall into any type of skill because they can not be evaded. The diagram is for skills that can be cast on others (and can be evaded). Cloak of fire and abundance dont get evaded but rather covered by stronger versions from others, so they do not technically count as a slill with a type either. Basically any skill that buffs does not go under this logic tree.
