Looks amazing and I absolutely love it!
One question though, how do we choose who to send mail to. Is there a little search bar that we type a characters name in or can we only send mail to added friends?
Sorry if this has been asked as I only went through the initial first posts.

I wanted to bump this question, because it is so important. One of the big annoyances of OaCs mailbox is that you have to type a users name exactly if you want it to go through.


I love that CH is finally making use of push notifications! Grats!


I also wanted to know if there is an option to send mail to multiple people. On my wish list is a "mail to clan" button. Here is why:
1) aggy spawns (or equivalent high level boss)
2) I send mail to my entire clan
3) everyone in my clan gets notified via the push notification
4) we all log on and kill it.
Its a very efficient way to get everyone together to kill a boss, and doesnt require an app outside the game like many clans use now.


Will this have options like actual email with options to forward, copy, or BCC people?

You have a side bar that allows you to quickly search through your friends list, clan, area and other characters on your account. You can also type in a name manually (the field will not auto complete). If you type in a nonexistent name you will be alerted when you hit the send button.

Sending mail to multiple people is a great idea, but not something that will be initially supported.

I think so. based on what otm wulver said, it would be sent separately.

If it is separate, then I think that a point to move forward with is multiple recipient for messages (obviously not items).

Currently there is not a multiple recipient option, but it is something that the team will investigate for the future.

two things:
when someone mails me something, does it show up in my inventory, or will their be a new menu button for incoming mail, or do I have to travel to one of the mailboxes to get my stuff out?

And secondly, I did find one hiccup. Lets say theres a very good trusted friend of mine who has an alt named B0B. I'm going to be going away for the weekend with no internet, so I decide to lend B0B something of mine thats very expensive(dmg helm, offhand, ammy, whatever), so he can lvl his alt named B0B. anyhoo, My friend's alt named B0B is not on my friends list, so I manually type in his name. Unfortunately, I never realized that his name is spelled with a zero in the middle instead of an O. So i inadvertently send my super expensive items to BOB, instead of B0B. BOB, who I have never met, just happens to be a selfish jerk. I will never see these items again.
another example would be that a lowercase l and a capital I look exactly the same in the game.
somebody is bound to accidentally send something to the wrong person.
That being said, I dont have the faintest idea how you would fix that... other than using a different font where I and l are more distinguishable.

Um, instead of buying stamps and having one more thing to keep track of, just use gold. You press send and the gold gets subtracted from your funds.

Also, 30 days is too long, 7 should do and if it gets returned you get your money back so you can choose to resend it.

Plz keep it at 28 days or more... Point is i only have time to play this game on weekends and would HATE for to miss mail this being said 7 days is to short, and what if u go on vacation how do u receive the items or stuff if its only 7days

1. You'll have to visit a mailbox to read the message and retrieve any attachments (mail or gold).

2. This is why we have added a quickbar to easily send messages to friends, clanmates, groupmates, players in your zone and alternate characters on your account as well as having two confirmation screens before the mail is sent (one of the confirmation screens lists the name and level of the character you are sending the mail to).

Love it guys, this will really be a + in game:-)
