I know a lot of people will disagree, but it's just not realistic as far as gaming reality goes. I mean, c'mon now, where have you seen a mailbox that becomes an overseer for items being loaned out, that automatically retrieves a loaned item and returns it to the owner.

In real life, when you take something out for a loan, there is a way for the loaner to recoup their loss if the item doesn't get returned. Usually there is a collateral or a credit apple info being taken. When you rent a DVD from Redbox, they still rely for you to return the disc, rather than magically pulling it out of your house.

Runescape has a lend item feature that automatically returns items after the given time is up and it can be collected anytime at a collection location which is at a bank.

Yeah, Idk about the loan system. If we keep moving in the direction of making everything automated, we will lose the touch of a live multiplayer game. It should work like in real life. If you Really Truly trust someone, then you can lend them stuff. If you dont really trust someone, you dont loan em stuff. A loan should be based on trust, not just based on the fact that the server will automatically giver your stuff back.

Will that white quartz/diamond armour be buy able?

It is Adamant Armour, and it will be available in Expansion 4.

Whoo!!! This is awesomely awesome and superb! With this new mail system we can easily transfer. And one thing I love about this is that it's like voice mail! You can send someone a message even though they're not online. Mailboxes! Stamps! It's becoming a real world! One silly question, but just want to be sure, do you have to check every mailbox to see what they have? lol. And I hope this extension will come out soon!

He wasnt bashing them as a bad idea though and how he hates it and how theirs too many odds and ends with it.

Will we be able to use this system to sell items? Specifically, will it have a cash on delivery mechanism such that if you send an item, the recipient cannot get it until their gold is sent back. It would go a long way to stop scams.

The mail system does not have an 'escrow' selling mechanic, but we're planning on adding an Auction House in a future Expansion to make buying and selling items easier.
