I use to do obelisk with a Druid who would just calm himself while 1 add would attack me was easy. Calm is. Pretty powerfull skill. I'm guess a combination of vines bark calm maybe storm/strike and embrace could be a decent build. Not saying it the best tank but if your short on warriors could be ok

Obelisk isn't technically a boss. Adds just have proximity aggro, and easy to take away. You also based this on a group of two where druid only calms one other person. I don't think Calm is enough to keep aggro solely on the druid tank on a real boss. But you guys seem to have the desire to use unusual builds, you can test it.

I'm not stupid but with the ability to calm the main dps ten on smaller bosses would it be decent?

So you think calming all the dps is enough for the druid to hold aggro? Maybe not even dps but the other Druids healing him. That means the druid is probably running around calming everyone, and doing nothing else. Probably can't even heal himself.

actually i have tanked bosses on my druid before when i had bark embrace maxed and vine and strike. the skills keep aggro and calm barely needed, best boss i tanked was deadroot. with a 400 vit build.

The problem is that rogue is the only one-dimensional class. If they make rogue have other option than be dps, then having all classes do decent dps shouldn't be such an issue.

What in the world would a rogue be useful for then? It's a dps class in every game. Dont give me the "this isnt like every other game" bullcrap others give me. Melee classes are for tanking and dps. What else are we supposed to do? We don't cast spells. The only way a rogue is usefull is for hitting as doing a lot of damage. Period.

Atch yrck I have 700 hp last fight and close to 1350-1400 damage. Aswell as 3200 attack or close to I restat all the time but pres got kill.

@ ONI do you have godly dragon ring of ice shards,incin,firebolt?

Do you have the firebolt an incin braclets then a royal ice shard ring? I don't think so cause if you did you would get kill every time!

Currently pres on our server has like no where near maxed gear and doesn't use radient he just blasts it and he gets kill compared to me who is around 22-23damage off maximum possible damage I can do. (3 more godly firefang rings and godly talon) yet he can go up in all skills by another around 18 overall which is a massive damage increase.

Not to mention the fact that I'm on a haste and they are ment to bringing out caster elix to improve casting. If you was smart you would know this but clearly you don't know the full potential of your own class.

I'm smart. I know the potential of my class. You obviously don't read. You're the one whining that you can't get a kill. You're the self proclaimed best rogue ever and aren't even in the top five for high hits. Your best mage isn't in the top 20. There's 3 mages ahead of him in your world, one even in your own clan. These are FACTS EVERYBODY can compare. All your subjective hoopla are not comparable facts. They're your own opinion. You keep calling people out for lack of gear when we hit higher than you. Stop kidding yourself. You call people out yet you yourself aren't the best rogue you claim to be. Don't worry about getting new gear, go get yourself some credibility.

Oh is it? So telling people they suck and need better gear cuz they can't kill aggragoth when they have no clue that I can kill aggragoth just fine is okay. YES everyone in the top 10 for hits rebirthed specifically to get a top spot. And NO it's not as simple as rebirth and max your skill and you'll get the top hit. What differentiates the actual top hitters is GEAR. Specifically what 'the best rogue ever' keeps calling people out on.

Comparing who can kill Aggragoth better than anyone between world's is subjective.

Top hits? Concrete proof ANYBODY can compare. AND YES it speaks to what GEAR you have. You need the BEST GEAR to have a TOP SPOT.

You don't call other people out or say you're the best anything and only have the ninth best in your class.

I'm not calling out just any other player. I'm calling out self proclaimed 'THE BEST ROGUE EVER' who keeps calling out other people for their ability and gear and they're not even top 5 hits in their own class.

Do I want the top hit? Nar means nothing I ha it at 1 point but haven't even maxed spear skill. What rogue in there right mind would atch use a spear for dps. Yet that is how you get max skill hits. Housecat on our server is second best dps rogue on our server but there are people above him in skill hits. Your just trying to get a reaction as you know this. Rogues should be top dps it's all we got and it's all we want. Yet we are not.


Aileron I don't believe there should be a set build for anyone. I do believe there should be some serious disadvantages when you go that build with the class that is not ment for it. Druid should never get kill IMO. Yet he got kill with a very decent rogue. Also I said minor bosses twice and you have chose to ignore that fact. Oww well never mind.

Congrats on being the first world to try with a druid! FACT is our druids hit higher than yours. They just never TRIED to kill aggragoth. Does it mean they can't? No! Just because someone doesn't try something doesn't mean they can't!

You keep talking about every caster class you have going dps having support to back them up. How about yourself?? Do you have a rogue with beyond maxed 35 smoke bomb casting at aggragoth? Beyond maxed 35 poison weapon casting it on you? If you don't use these then NO you DON'T KNOW the full potential of you own class and you need to stop comparing all other worlds that you have ZERO clue about how they do things.
