We are working on improving the classes, please post suggestions that you would like for improving Rangers.

We don't have enough in the game right now which indicates that they need something extra, so your thoughts will be very much appreciated.

Maybe adding

Weapon
Longbow/Shortbow,

Skill
attack skill to cripple an enemy (so he moves slower)
Pet

These skills could improve the distance between the ranger and the enemy. because a ranger should be fighting from a distance in my eye's.
by adding cripple or a pet the ranger can keep a fair distance. Or by grouping with a druid ofcourse.

At the moment I have a level 37 Ranger. If I want to get any decent amout of xp I obviously have to battle similar level monsters. Right now, the only place I can do this is by running to the Bone Revenant room and standing in a safe spot on the side to recharge energy, then take out the one that walks sideways across the room. It uses pretty much all of my energy in attacking and healing and the whole process takes about 30 seconds to kill, then up to 7 minutes to recharge. This is ridiculous and I have to repeat this many many times to get xp. I think it is a general problem for all classes but want to give feedback from my point of view too. As a ranger I don't have very good attack or defense. I require full armour to stand a chance which impacts my energy level. I know, you may say "wear lighter armour, idiot". However, if I didn't have the heavy armour, my special attack is weak and takes so long to charge that I wouldn't be able to convert my energy into damage before the monster has killed me. Here is the problem. As a ranger, to combat anything near my level, I need to use my special attack loads of times and am completely devoid of energy and health when finished. My suggestion would be to fix the general energy issue and give the Ranger a more potent special attack.

Rangers are getting a skill to increase attack speed, do damage over time, a small/fast combat heal (which they can also use on others), and a camouflage skill they can also use on others. Also we'll add in more damaging arrows which will be a good way for rangers to increase general bow damage. Also bolas will be made a lot more effective at lower skill levels.

Hopefully that will help redress the balance a bit.

I'd like to see the Sharp Shot skill dramatically more powerful, and the Bolas changed to something with a more crippling effect that could allow the Ranger to continue firing the bow from a distance at the enemy.

My main beef with the Ranger class at the moment is lack of damage, and as soon as you take 1 shot the enemy rushes you and youre basically an underpowered, underarmored warrior.

Eagerly awaiting the updates in the patch

In terms of hiding rangers now have a camouflage skill which they can use on themselves or other players.

Also rangers also get a fast combat heal for themselves or others.

So this should make them more useful in groups also.

I'd also like to see attack speed increased a little, if not make Bolas into a feel freeze.
