Like yrck has said before, any player can make their toon have high dps if that's focused on. Honestly, if you want to be dps with any class, that's possible. Yrck came up with a really good dps build for druid. He got 2 aggy kills. It means yrck did a good job with his stats and skills for druid. But if someone rebirthed many times trying out different dps builds, they would get a similar result, with any class.

My main is a druid and personally I don't feel that we need any additional DPS.
However, incorporating some type of heroic gloves for casters would be awesome!

+1 I really hope we get some form of caster gloves to increase our cast speed or skill cooldown rate.
As far as more dps for druids i have to say no. The damage from our skills is adequate and i definetly don't want another damage skill added into our repertoire given our finite amount of skill points which we already don't have enough of. As far as auto attack damage goes i think we're fine. Totem is slow but you can always go h2h with damage gear to make up for it. If you just wanna see super high numbers when you swing your totem then try acquiring an ice lord totem. As mentioned earlier you could always add points into strength if you want higher auto attack damage.
In all honesty though our auto attack damage is amazing compared to mages... Wands are useless unless you can acquire one of the rare ones with a bonus to a skill.

I think decrease casting gloves would be cool buy decrease cooldown gloves would be massively opowered imo. Deffo for caster classes.
Sigh.... clearly against the beneift of any other class. All your arguments for dps alignment are based on other MMOs. I really hope this game remains unique and does not become a carbon copy of the 20 other games out there. I urge anyone that comes into this game expecting to see a mirror of previous games to not waste everyone's tine here. If u love the setup of another game, stick with thay game. Please don't force your preconcieved notions of an mmo on CH.

Get creative broseph. This is a new game, lets keep it that way.

I don't think that the purpose of this topic was to really increase druids DPS, it was to have a more viable soloing option. If the purpose of this topic lies elsewhere, then ill propose the idea of having a more viable soloing option. :geek:

One of you (too lazy to check who) said that this is an MMO, so group lvling is to be expected. I would agree with this, except that CH is an mmo for mobile devices. I know that at least for me, training groups are extremely hard to find in a short notice, which is a problem when I want to get short stretchs of training whenever I find myself waiting for something. The MMO aspect of the game is already there in the form of clans and bosses, so I don't see why a soloing option for druids would be a problem.

That said, these are some possible solutions:




Following on the whole physical damage thing, totems could attack 1.5 times as fast when facing a 1-4 star mob, and normal speed on a 5-6 star mob. This could be implemented for new players by having the totem trainer say that totems take much longer time to swing at monsters that radiate strong negative force. (Hey, corny is OK!)

Another solution is to have a frozen set bonus of half (This might be excessive, threw in a random number) the energy on casting damage spells against 1-4 star bosses. This would also remove the pointless aspect of frozen armor




Pretty much anything else that only would function against 1-4 star mobs would work. Thanks for reading.
