How many energy sigils is the ideal for 150 mage?
Ideal? Probably 500 or so.

You'll probably need energy boost or sacrifice as well. When you fight a mob on lavaland your sigils won't work I don't think... I maybe wrong

Sigils work on lava they are just not as effective because they get interrupted sometimes.

I have always felt that 400 energy sigils is the minimum a high level mage needs if they do not want constant energy problems. You will still run out of energy but it makes the class playable.
There are plenty of options available to you if you do not want to buy sigils but you are never going to be able to max your dps without them.

I also strongly recommend some health sigils to balance out your regen. I would say at least 100.

My ranger has a LOT of health sigils and i am pretty sure he regenerates in the lava field.

However there is a "jittery" look to the health bar as that background damage buff is applied and stops again etc etc so it doesn't always happen exactly when I expect. But then a few seconds later...boom, full health.

I imagine energy signals would be the same.
