Re: Guide to Mages

Hi All,

The numbers for Energy boost are now visable in the skills page.

Seriously guys, no build submissions or responses? Bit dissappointing. Figured some people would at least share some of their views

Thanks fr your post, kyller.

I find it very useful since started my own Mage. Could you please give me exact figures of your energy boost. Hom much mp it costs, how much does it recharge and the lvl of your spell as well as the lvl of your ice magic skill. I'm trying to figure out if I should use skill points to upgrade it, as on lvl 1 with ice magic = 90 it only recharges 1 mp per tic (making a total of 6 tics) and costs 10 mp. So it is basically useless.

P.S.: Skill page doesn't show the figures for energy boost, at least on my mage (

Well i have decided to build a tank mage since the only penalty in adding vit is less energy rather than a loss of DPS. So far i am using that wanderer helm from the chess men. Then, i am basically naked :)

My focus is currently 58
My vitality is currently 57

I plan on dumping all my points into vitality for now. My energy is never empty

My skill setup is firebolt, lure of fire, cloak, ice shards, lure of ice, and bandage wounds.

I have a few sigils in energy (planning on buying more soon). Ill keep you updated

EDIT #3: Im level 55
My focus is 70
The rest of my points are in vitality
In Stonevale, I can solo Root Wreckers and branch twisters with the cloak. I get alot of compliments after I kill high leveled mobs :D
I have baught energy and health sigils to speed up breaks between battles. I plan on buying the 200k shield that provides 60 Armor, 100 health, and 100 energy.

Heres a mage guide.

So...
There has been a major update since then. Attributes work differently now. A mage can no longer make for an excelent tank. Skills work differently now as well. The level cap back then was much lower than now.
