Re: new adamant armour statistics?

I'm quite happy for rogue to do more dps than me provided he has less armour after all alls fair in love an war :)
Restrict rogue to cloth armour and ranger leather as is and rogue can be as dps as he likes what i dont like is he hits harder and faster never runs out of energy as auto attacks out dps everyone and he has decent armour
I disagree. First, rogues do run out of energy especially one that is decked in all dps gear. If rogues equip all the regen items, than we are weaker than just about any other class.

Secondly I would agree for rogues to have light cloth armor if we had energy shield or shield of bark type skills that could improve our survivability but since we don't than we get higher armor.
I am not quite sure how to put this... Perhaps, "you can't have it all?" There is a reason why there are lux items that have energy regeneration. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice your max dps in order to maintain stable and constant dps. That is not to say Rogue skills do not need improvement. All skills for all classes should probably have the energy consumption lowered to a point where basic lux, and even a reasonable amount of sigils, could keep up. (The exception would be Mages but energy boost should be able to sustain a Mage without additional sigils)

I believe the skill that would improve survivability for Rogues would be fast reflexes? I am aware that many Rogue skills are not functioning as well as they should but being able to dodge more allows a Rogue to survive longer just as energy shield allows a Mage to survive longer or shield of bark allows a druid, or whomever the skill is placed on, to take on less damage.

I believe the armor for both classes should stay as is. Neither are expected to really take on damage for a long period of time.

Great point about energy and sustainability. Allot id people want to sacrifice energy Regen for dps equipment and complain all their skills are broken. Km not saying they all are great but I think it all needs to be taken in moderation. High levels all seem to have energy problems regardless of class

So far I only know a lv 35 storm touch and assassinate cost 440 odd energy whereas a lv 35 ice shards cost only 260 energy.

And hence yes, the energy cost for classes in general needs a decrease.

I absolutely admire everyone's way of completely changing the topic. :)
We started at armor, then went to Druid and
Mages and now we end up at who is a better dps : Rogue or Mage.
 :D

As my part of this argument, or whatnot I would agree that rogues should be amazing in dps but that does not mean mages can't be good as well. Suppose their was a 1 v 1 fight for Crammok. A Mage vs a Rogue. If the rogue had say 800 damage it would be a close competition. (Keep in mind this is Crammok the guy in arena I think that's his name. If there is a battle for this the levels are both considerably lower than people killing Ragnor. Suppose they both are 125.) A Mage who is full dps and a H2H Mage would be quite good. The rogue would hit approximately 350-500 per auto. The Mage would have lures yet also hit 150-300 per auto hit. This significantly decreases the gap between the two. Now when a Mage starts casting , it can easily reduce the gap between the auto hits because ice shards hits 800+ and fire bolt and incinerate provide quick damage. This would be a very close battle and it would probably be the rogue winning but theage also has a chance.

The reason rogue would and should win though is because they only have one roll in the game. You might say rogue can tank but they aren't nearly as good. Mages have two good roles. They can be amazing supporters and good dps. A rogue on the other hand is EXCELLENT dps but decent tank ( for the best of them). Basically every class has two roles they can perform. When you weight them all down, they are quite closely matched.

Warrior: Extra-Ordinary Tank, Bad- Decent Dps
Mage: Amazing Support, Good Dps
Rogue: Excellent Dps, Decent Tank
Druid: Extra-ordinary support ( Heals, abundant aura, SoB, etc), Can be potentially good dps
Ranger: Amazing soloists: Good support.

Throughout the roles of these classes do even out.

I got quoted :D
Anyways please ignore any typos as it's hard typing on itouch.

I think that the armor should add skills! To certain types. Say warrior BP is +3 to PS

That would be cool

But buff warriors the most :)
