Druid Suggestions - Beta

Hello guys,

I am RoyalSeraphim of Taranis and need your help! I am a Beta Tester, one of the representatives for the Druid class. Let me know what you guys think should be changed, and I will also credit you towards my posts in Beta. As of now, sorry but I cannot reveal any information regarding Beta, I can only say which idea I think is good and which doesn't work out well with the current situation.

I know many people here have posted about each and every issue that Druids have, but please be logical. It matters not if you have posted any suggestions towards what changes should be at hand, but please, I need A LOT of contributions from my fellow Druids! Together I can gain attention towards changes and make you guys happy as well. As of now, I am in a long-hard battle with the people who make the game how it is, and I need a lot of help getting up there. I will also be speaking to higher authority to see what we can do about the changes and needs for Druids. As of now, through changes and my fellow Druid Beta Tester representatives, they too have helped as I did with changing the Druid class a lot, and I guarantee you all will be happy with our work.

Here, with suggestions from this post, I need all the help I can get, even one single word can help towards the change in Druids. If you want anything minded towards me and if you want me to read a specific topic, look for it and reply to this topic and I guarantee you that I will read it and give credit to the poster and make the changes happen.

Make SoL useful by reducing the cool/cast/energy cost by half and make the target re spawn with half their hp and original energy

Reduce energy cost for all of the druids dps skills and natures breath

Make lightning instant cast (like a real lighting bolt! :D ) or reduce cast time

Add another druid dps skill, some suggestions may be another DoT skill that isnt as powerful as vines but add energy with maybe 70% of the damage as opposed to vines
OR a skill like a mages magic lure as no mages i know uses it which is a pain for druids


Other than this a druid is a fairly well balanced class

Right now I'm trying to be a hybrid type druid, but because each ability point only raises my heals a little bit it's hard for me to add pts to my lightening bolt/strangling vines as well so I can train on my own. I'm not sure if it's possible, but maybe could each stat point count a little bit more for heals so I could be able to train without being in a group? Thanks for taking our suggestions! :D

This is already in the game, each stat point you add to focus it increases your heal and damage of all your skills. The difference is only minor but when you add lots at a time you can notice a big difference.

Have some notes ive been thinking about for a while.

* add a time for how long cooldown is on each spell.

* Touch should be interupted if the person u cast it on dies before u cast.

* make dps gear add dmg on spells.

* energy bars should be seen when highlighting a player same as health bar.

* SoL same energy as after death, shorter cooldown and make person spawn where druid is standing.

1) Roots - I would like it to be same as bolas being 30 secs. If 30 secs is too long ( :o :o ), can the cooling time decrease instead? Its also not a popular skill among lvling druids to use due to aggro range. By the time u cast it, the mobs is already heading towards u. So, yea, i would like the duration to be increased / or cooling time decreased and increase the casting range.

2) Storm touch - This was mentioned before but i would like to expend more. A lv 35 storm touch cost abt 440 energy whereas lv 35 ice shards cost 260 energy odd. Someone in beta also mentioned a lv 50 storm costs 900 odd energy. Seriously... 900 energy is a joke. Even if energy regen lux goes up to 200 per tick, thats 20 secs just for one storm touch. This bad boy needs to tone in energy cost
MorphMarfa has retired from Celtic Heroes and most probably wont be resurfacing. He had a enjoyable time during his druid adventures in Taranis.
