I would like to open up a dialogue with uskoci about a sharing agreement for pyrus. We have an agreement in place for aggragoth and it seems to work well. I think we should discuss how pyrus should be shared as well. Let me give this some context:
About a half hour ago pyrus spawned and uskoci and badabing had people there camping. By the time badabing had a capable group there, uskoci had four people there with a tank incapable of tanking pyrus. Still, we waited out of respect. Uskoci filled their group, and let one badabing in because he needed pyrus for his quest. Badabing then colaborated on the kill, and it was very quick and smooth. The uskoci group got the kill and the drops. When it came time to roll on the drops, uskoci became silent and waited for most everyone to log out in frustration, before even considering rolling for all those present. In the end, uskoci got a grand hammers ring, a purple lion, and a frost orb. Badabing got one guy finishing his quest.
It is because of situations like this that i believe that we need to start a discussion about multiclan, multigroup boss kills. There are going to be new bosses coming in the update, and i believe that we should discuss situations like these so the biggest clan in all worlds does not roll over all others in their way. It comes down to respect. I would like a solution that respects all parties involved in a boss kill.
I leave this thread open to suggestions. What would be the best option for situations like these? What would a boss sharing solution look like when multiple groups are involved?

#2Shall we also discuss situations with Falgren or Deadroot then?? Today, Falgren had spawned, and I grouped a member from Bada, and at least 1 other person from Usk needed the quest. They sent an invite to said member, and said member rejected the request. I thought the clan had an ideal on allowing those who need for the quest in?? I know we have problems with members from both clans (with full frozen) camping the bosses just to equip the lower members of the clan. Plus with Deadroot being greedy of dropping minds lately, it's hard for people (such as myself, lvl 131 still working on meteoric bp) to get these drops with all the high lvls camping for something they don't need for themselves. I'd try to negotiate something with you, but it is not my decision to do that, you would have to talk to a general...

#4I will agree that this had also happened today, but I was not the one inviting all the people from my clan, I only invited the two Usk members that were already there (one who needed quest), and tried to invite FireRanger, but was not able to cuz the group went from 3 to full before I could accept the invitation.Im not going to lie im guilty of it but the right thing is to group the first other 7 ppl at that boss and not group ur clan and wait for them all to run and et there. 1. If a clan camps pyrus 24 by 7 by stationing one or two members there, and pyrus spawns, does it mean it belongs to them?
2. If a clan with a capable group arrives at a boss , and the clan that camps is waiting for other members to arrive, does it mean the capable clan has to wait for the whole camping clan to arrive to take pyrus first?
3. If the capable clan starts to kill pyrus before the camping clan capable group arrives, is that considered ks?
4. Why cant we apply the rule for ymir for pyrus, i.e. the first capable group that arrives take it?
5. What if two clans camp there? Should the iion crest be rolled to be fair?
6. Or should we have free for all when pyrus spawns and no one should complain at all?
Nightingale has in the past suggested some golden rules for grouping people for bosses. Looks like these rules r all thrown out of the window now that his clan is camping pyrus day and night.

2) no, but it'd be nice to mix groups or agree to roll on the drops (worked well once for us on a messy pyrus kill and seems like fairest way)

#8I personally like the idea of rolling on drops. When a boss spawns its hard to stop and regroup everyone. Sometimes its just not possible. Rolling is the next best solution to this. That's what I thought we were doing last night, but it turns out we were mislead.
Falgren situation
clan A and clan B both have someone parked at falgren, neither group has the manpower to take him at this point. Both clans get a clan group for falgren, group A gets their quicker and kills him.
Pyrus situation
clan A and clan B both have someone parked at pyrus, neither group has the manpower to take him at this point. Both clans get a clan group for pyrus, group A gets their quicker but waits for group B out of respect for them. Both clans colaborate on kill and it is assumed that there will be a roll for drops afterwards. Clan B gets the drops and refuses to roll on drops, or even thank group A for their help.
I hope you can see the difference there. While neither situation is good, one is certainly worse.

I am reminding you of this because some people need to practice what they preach.OK I have not posted in a while so I just wanted to write a little something that has been frustrating me lately. I am in no way pointing any fingers at any clan because my clan has probably been guilty of the same thing at times. This is the practice of exclusion at bosses in leveling groups or whatever.
What I mean by exclusion is the practice of rejecting people at a boss or a group because they don’t have the same clan banner above their head. Conversely inclusion is something I have fought for since I have played in Arawn. I have had the pleasure of playing in several worlds and on other servers, clans will never group another clan. If fact there is a rule in these clans stating that if you group another clan period you could be kicked.
I get why people don’t want to group other clans. It’s simple really the clan wants everything for their own clan! All the drops, the crests, the rings, the tabs, the exp, the gold, the frags…… I just can never support that from anyone. Until recently Arawn has always been a haven from that sort of thing. We are not drama free but our clans have joined in battle to defeat the toughest enemies. I have seen people from different clans group whoever is at the boss in lieu of their own clan. I can tell you that we tell all our recruits in Uskoci that we will group anyone who is at a boss. I’m not saying that it always happens but it is an unwritten rule.
Excluding anyone from a group because they are not in you clan (or like you) is a form of prejudice. I know that this is a game but I know that there are people here that are suffering and use this game as an escape. It is one of the reasons I play. But I know that there are people that take this rejection seriously and personal. I want you all to think about this the next time you are at a boss and someone there asks to join.
